This is not a turbine, it is a kind of "connector" which lets me to change the angle of crank for valve. It consists of two disks - one disk (bottom) with 16 "blades" is fixed on crankshaft. And the second disk(upper) with only 4 "blades" is demountable - I can detach it from crankshaft, rotate it for needed angle and attach again. In short, I can regulate gas-distributing phase with help of this connector

Thanks. I haven't used any piston rings, because I've figured out that for paper models low friction is more important than significant compression

There are no templates for this model, at least for the moment

I'm not him but i would recommend starting with a scaled down version of the one cylinder. I started like one and a half year ago with the v8 (not a good choice for beginners). Now I'm at a point where I could manage to build working one cylinder. I already attempted it >5 times. Hope this was helpfull

Hello, as Daniel Morzik wrote, you can try either 1-cylinder model, or maybe 4-cylinder one. Templates could be found in descriptions of corresponding videos

Actually they are not airtight. It is enough to have a pressure difference to do the job

unfortunately I have no experience in 3d modelling software, as well as in autocad. All templates (if they are) were made in free 2d grafic editor from OpenOffice package - "OpenOffice Draw"

I didn't measure exact angle, but I guess it is about 90 degree. The thing is it can be changed because of this "junction clutch" at the top of crankshaft.

you can try any of them, but if you mean which one is the easiest - I'd say it is 4-cylinder motor

It was not a braking system, it was just a demonstration of gas-distribution system working. More specific, as correctly mentioned by Jakob Schaller, closing output ports will lead to stop functioning

бумага обычная, для осей - офисная (80г/м2) скрученная в трубки, для остального - ватман. Здесь еще для подставки использовал картон толщиной 1мм. Там где надо особая прочность, пропитываю суперклеем

In v8 model I used paper gear contour covered with paper strip along the edge. And for the 4-cylinder model you can find a templates for gears in description of video
