Жыл бұрынHuge thanks to everyone for all the support and wishes for Paul, Cathal, Eoin and Órla as they competed on Ireland's Fittest Family on Sunday night. They had a great experience and had many laughs and giggles along the way. Fellow Meath woman Nina made it all the more special so huge thanks to Nina Carberry. They may not be Ireland's Family winners but they are definite contenders for Ireland's Fittest Farmers and are winners in our eyes!
Getting back to the day job, in for repair this week we have the:
- JCB Fastrac 4220 issue with Alternator bracket issue
- Grimme Harvester Chopper attachment upgrade
- John Deere 7820 is a new addition to the farm...a few teething problems but the lads have it sorted
- Steyr Terrus 300 in for a service. Philip from Mid Louth came out to do the job. Thanks Philip!
Happy birthday to Kaylem...many happy returns to the baby of the workshop. I don't think Cathal will be in the good books after putting up those photos. We knew he was a true John Deere man at heart!

Hard luck on the fittest family competition, I reckon your undoing was being spoilt with all that great land in Meath, had you been used to slugging it out in bog like us poor farmers in the midlands you'd have flew through the eliminator😂

Brilliant video. Hugely informative and entertaining all rolled into the one package. Having so many different personalities in the one video makes it a lot more enjoyable in my view and I feel probably gives ye an edge over some of the other one man band channels out there at the moment. Mystery tool : Looks like a Mitutoyo 6 inch digital vernier caliper. Can be used to measure interior/exterior diameters along with a depth gauge. The digital version had a metric to Imperial conversion with the touch of a button. One of the most precise devices ever invented.. next to a flat plate. Bet Finnegan's never heard of a flat plate, lol. Keep up the great vids guys.

Digital vernier caliper. You can measure the internal and external measurements and also the depth of a hole. On a standard caliper you measure lining up the lines on the slide part to get it within .1 of a mm

Inside diameter, outside diameter. depth gauge and sliding square, fixed jaw and sliding jaws are level when closed on LHS and create a step when you open them that can be used as a sliding square.
