I've said it before and I'll say it again, the content and production values of Aus Armour are top quality. You lads all need a pat on the back. No phoney dialogue, no forced deadlines, just skilled blokes doing great work. 🇦🇺 Regards from Pom Land.

Totally agree, it may be a bit of a niche subject but these are some of the best produced videos on KZfaq. The guys working is great to see but the quality of Kurt's ( and I assume ) team is superb and show the other guys work to its best advantage. I think my fave videos of the series are the ones where Darryl went to get the other tanks, he was so happy it was a joy to see.

Awesome to see these armored vehicles brought back to life! I served in the US Army as a tracked vehicle mechanic. It's been 30+years but working on armored vehicles is a major job and can be dangerous. Being able to do this kind of repair work is a talent. My hat is off to you guys! Great work!

That is looking so good. Love how the designers made things easy for the poor depot guys in the field, like bolts that only fit one way or the way the 37mm had threaded holes only at the point of balance. Keep it up!

The American Army knew that these things had to be built to last and be easily serviced in the field. If you look at it a lot of Sherman parts interchanged with it, all the nuts and bolts in the suspension were the same M 3 light tank, M3 and M 4, M 7 , M10, and M36. It is a tribute to the engineers and builders that these things after 78 years with all kinds of abuse can be brought back this well.

It was the crux of american tank design, having to take it back to factory for repairs wasn't feasible with an ocean between the battlefield and the factory.

The restoration of this Grant is fantastic! So much attention to detail. As far as the turret hydraulics are concerned you might be able to find a retired mining machine hydraulic engineer to come and have a look at the system for you. Or failing that, a REME type retired soldier amongst your avid fans. It's worth a shout out as it looks as if it would be pretty simple to have the hydraulic units out from inside until it was fixed. I know you want to exhibit the Grant in its entirety, but for however long the units take to get fixed shouldn't be too long to have those pieces of equipment out until ready

Hello precious Australian tank hands, from the first time i saw youre time consuming projects i have never thought that anything of whats left on this earth for a puzzle restoring tank project could become one in Australia !, and all those skill,s that came by like making new or restore parts, and the natural physics of bending and deforming of metal parts and how you guys deal with that. Some how Kurt of OsAma is like the writer of a book wich i can,t stop reeding😉 very mutch respect to all of you guys in this work , i love this so much!!!!. Greetings from the Netherlands!!!
