World Championship Blacksmiths 2017 season is in full swing. Virginia State Fair is the fourth stop for the WCB crew. The judge for the Virginia contest is Brian Nelson, CJF. In this video Craig makes the east/west quarter horse hind shoe. Brian submitted this shoe as one of the two shoes in the individual class. This shoe is made from 10 1/2" x 3/8" x 1" . It is punched for two mx50 on the inside branch and four mx60 on the outside branch. The shoe measures 4 15/16" wide and 5 1/4" long. The contest will be October 6-8, 2017.
