My eyes bleeding, when i see this game play. This deck had easily beaten affinity... and such comments, appearing the decks card are bad, when you don't play correctly. Outch.

It is definitely more powerful than some other Championship decks of this series, but is rather linear. Besides, it is now fine only for kitchen table as far as formats go. However, I do like playing and testing MUD in Legacy for GP Prague. Yet I may switch the deck before June.

Steve Ziemann i am sure they comment in that article, it was pretty much for design reasons. leaving mana burn in the game impacted certain aspects of the game, while removing it pretty much does nothing to the game. i do remember when mono red control in mirrodin block constructed started the first turn paining for 1 with mana burn to help set up Pulse of the Forge. so there is some relevance for the decision.

True. I can understand their decision. I started playing in '97 but took a break. I recently started playing again so I have some catching up to do. I will be reading that article and more. Thanks again.
