damn at least in this zoo the animals can roam freely to wherever they like. they aren't locked in a cage. they look chill + happy/ thank you for showing us this Cody

That's why this is called Cebu Safari and Adventure Park. The owner, Michel Lhuillier, see to it that animals can roam freely around big spaces as if it's their natural habitat. The place is also a huge botanical garden with various areas dedicated to cacti, orchids, flowering shrubs, trees, etc. The 1-hectare orchidarium is amazing with over 200 orchid species whose flowers in different colors.

What a beautiful Zoo! I love how the animals have so much room to roam. I dont know why we never heard of that zoo while Alma and I were visiting my friend in Carmen for a week. We would have LOVED to have visited there! I'm glad Izai started feeling better! Would have ruined the whole trip if she'd stayed sick. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait for part 2! Smiles

They just opened last 2018, I think. Back then there are still not a lot of animals so most people don’t recommend it yet.

Was there when I visited Cebu. That place is close to my family's ancestral home in Danao City. Very nice place! Back then, the enterance fee was 700 pesos with lunch included. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to part II.

You missed to feed those macaws. There is an aviary there where you can go inside and feed the birds with sunflower seeds. Once you raise your hand with those seeds, the whole aviary of macaws will converge on you. It's like the Avatar Movie vibe in there. What's interesting though is there is a horizontal bar there where the birds will line up to you and take turns in eating the sunflower seeds off you hand. Each bird will eat a few seeds and then fly away and then the next one in line will move closer to you and so on. It's really amazing.

Omigosh! Didn't know this place existed. Where have I been hiding? Lol! It's so impressive. This might be better than the Los Angeles Zoo that I visited looong time ago. Can't wait to see Part 2 of this vlog. 👍😉

Good video, wow i wish i had known about that place when i was there. Look forward to visiting it on my next visit. What was the entrance fee? Not sure 🤔 i caught that. Keep wandering , no telling what else you’ll uncover in that beautiful place called the Philippines 🇵🇭!!!

This place was only opened in 2018 after 10 years of construction as the whole area covers 300 hectares of mountainous terrain. Admission ticket is P800 for adults and free for children below 3 feet.

8 hrs is not enough to roam around the whole safari. When we're there in 2018 we chose to walk after our first stop and the map is our guide to our next stops. They said that the elephants and hippos will arrive next year. Can't wait to go back to see the hippos lol

Thank you haha, it is normally 800 peso (16 USD) but because of the virus, they are discounting to 600 Pesos (12 USD) per person. I meant to actually meant to put that in the video but must have forgotten in editing. I will include it in part 2 so everyone can see it.

Re Izai getting sick, acid stomach, etc: The same used to happen to my wife. (A Filipina as well). In later life she found out that she had ulcers. The two other times this happen we ended up with a boy and a girl. Yup, it happens. Ha. (Just joking -- get and stay well Izai ! All the best to both of you. Keep on Vloging shipmates.

This is the biggest of its kind in the Philippines covering an area of 300 hectares of lush mountains and valleys. It just opened in 2018. The name is called Cebu Safari and Adventure Park because aside from the animal attraction, it is also a botanical garden with huge collection of beautiful plants and trees as well as adventure activities such as the longest zipline in the Philippines with 1.3 kilometers long hovering 300 meters above sea level. They also have sky bike, ATV rides, giant swing all located atop the mountain. They also have accommodation in the form of log cabins with infinity pool on the edge of a mountain.

Skipping meals causes acidity, and habitual skipping causes acid reflux. Driniking coffee, soda will take matters worse. Never skip breakfast, that’s rule no. 1.

Weekend, and no it wasnt too bad, but it was a rainy day so maybe a lot of people didnt go that day

That bird with the afro was kinda creepy haha. We visited a zoo very similar to that in Thailand, and to be honest it sounds bad but it's better than an African safari, I feel bad saying it but after 14 hours in a jeep in the sun it's kind of torturous.

It's the zoo in ubon ratchathoni not many people visit there. I think we were the only people in that town that wasn't Thai haha. The only reason we went there was to visit our sponsor child. Was actually a really special time, we happened to be there on his birthday and him and I share a birthday. He wrote us once saying he had never eaten pizza before, so we took him out for pizza and cake.

@@WeWander The one in Thailand is a zoo where animals are kept in small enclosure, typical of most zoos. The one that compares closer to Cebu Safari is the Taipei Zoo in Taiwan which, despite its name, is actually very similar to Cebu Safari in both layout and how animals are kept, only smaller at 100 hectares. Cebu Safari is about 300 hectares.

That is the African Crown Crane which is actually a very intelligent wading bird, it becomes part of the bird show in the park 2 times daily. The bird is very fond of people and they usually put up a show with their dancing skill when people watching them. It looks intimidating when they run toward you but they actually like to put up a show and start to dance when you don't run away.
