Fabulous workmanship, the age demographic of those capable of this is evidenced by the fact that your meeting some of the oldest people in the country and quite possibly some of the last people that can manage to produce this standard of work at home. I'm never regretted model making as a hobby. It's been a constant in my life for the last 60 years..

I am only at 22 minutes and this is the best model engineering video I have ever seen! Your commentary is a serious attribute to the video! Other commentaries of video’s are frequently babblers of foolishness demonstrating they actually have no clue what they are looking at. You are not only knowledgeable but your obvious relationship with many at the show add a certain authenticity and value to the video! Great work! I’m being educated, not just entertained!

It would be an amazing addition to you video if you included a list of the modellers and their contacts and any resources available from the booths, i.e. catalogues, plans or kits available or a link to the show that might have that list. I know that would be quite a task to compile if the show doesn’t provide it. I love your video and would love to go to one of these shows some day. I provide video footage of working displays in a 75,000 sq ft exhibition venue with over 300 exhibitors and thousands of people milling around. I manage to get out and take a lot of short clips, all while operating and maintaining my own displays with 10-15 working running engines for the entire weekend. I do this so you can enjoy a slice of our hobby if you could not attend. So yes, some of my camera work may be shaky. It is much worse looking before I spend many hours editing. @reddrryder3 жыл бұрын
You should know that most of the mechanical marvels you see at these shows are hand built by the highly skilled model engineers who display them. It is difficult to put a realistic price on any of these machines given the skills and the very high number of hours required to create one. Some of these machines have thousands of hours put into them. It isn't about the price.
