I'm almost 6000 hours in and I only did one WC, after 5000 hours. I guess you need to be that special person that enjoys the pain of a WC. I love the middle game though when after your Austria revoke do some tag switching. Austria - Hungary - Piedmonte - Netherlands - HRE should be really sufficient for a WC. I would never go for exotic things like moving your capital to Mexico.

Religious itself gives -25% culture conversion cost, and the policy with influence gives another -15%. Combine that with the Hussite faith aspect and the clergy privilege, and you have some very strong early culture conversion cost modifiers, which means you have to spend less diplo in the late game (You can start culture converting BEFORE enlightenment hits, which is huge). Influence also plays well with Bohemia, put influence, admin, and quali together and you get a lot of reduced annexation cost, which is kinda relevant when you have a significant chunk of eastern Europe as subjects. You're already permanently low on diplopower when you're going for a 1 culture, so annexation cost modifiers are very welcome. The only real problem in the ideas that I see is that he should've gone diplo instead of quantity, and quali is a bit overkill, you don't need that 10%.

Trade comps are really neat if you can use them properly. You do have to stack minimum autonomy alongside with too tho imo. The extra +100% production eff and chaining the 10% trade value is really solid if you wanna hit the intiger overflow.

If you just put in the time and effort to micro manage everything, it is very doable to do a WC. I accidently did a WC as Spain. I went colonial first and was just conquering north africa and anatolia in the mean time because I was bored and then at 1600 I realised I could do a WC. Then I just focussed on revoking the privilidges because I didn't want to bother with conquering europe. At that point it is just a lot of micro.

7:30 TCs only give bonus Goods Produced that makes them so strong in non TC Land, hence why they probably aren't making that much from trade - trying to get as few provinces with as much trade power as possible is ideal, but generally I just pick 1-3 states prioritising Trade centres, estuaries etc then number of provinces, use the TC upgrades, and you can quite easily get the Merchant and a hefty goods produced bonus. If you're not stating it you can just pick one province per state also and use the Broker's Exchange since that gives a flat 0.3 goods produced for all in the province. I generally don't bother because the cost to do that in all states across multiple trade nodes combined with the Company Depots is so much that like, why not just build buildings instead. Significantly less micro, and lets you actually state or half-state stuff. I got no clue what of the 1k Ducat Buildings are best. I usually just do trade Steering if its kinda in the middle of my trade conga line and otherwise the Trade Value Modifier. I tend to think they are just a nice bonus to add to an optimised trade system. China is really good for making strong Trade Companies, you can squeeze a tonne of money easily as soon as you can stop so much trade flowing out. Also Surely if you are going for one culture you want the cost / time buff from Religious? Only reason I can think of, although I don't know how people do One Cultures since if you can bother, enlightenment gives a significant discount to it but to really take advantage of it you'd need to diplo bank. It's entirely possible that recent patches have slipped in modifiers all over the place that makes it easier as they have with one Faith.

I did a world conquest as Naples way back in the patch right before Dharma. Got an early PU over France, rushed Rome cuz larp. I got a big Portugal PU too.

What tag switches besides Prussia and Sardinia piedmont would you recommend tag switching too for the best buffs ? an example would be Florence- Sardinia- two sicilies- Prussia- Germany. I am trying to do a game where i tag switch like 20 times to get a crazy amount of modifers stacking

2000+ hours, have yet to attempt wc. I spend most of my time early to mid game, purely because I used to terrible at nation building.

I like this type of video, I don’t like when redhawk does it tho. Every one of his he deducts points for combat width not taking into consideration something you just said. If it’s single player and you are the uncontested strongest power, you do not need to micro that. Combat width shouldn’t be a factor if you obviously strong enough to beat up all the great powers. It would only matter if all GP were in a coalition against player

You say that it's a mistake to take quantity religious, but then when going through your picks, you pick them..... If he's says he's going for a one culture, that's why he's taken influence and religious, for the policy. You can argue why that's incorrect but don't say there's no reason for taking them. Kinda weak vid
