Have you heard of the World Famous Round Rock Donuts from Round Rock, Texas?! If not you are in for a treat! In this episode of my Austin, Texas Food Tour Series I am going to be taking you on a food adventure across the historic downtown of Round Rock.
The first spot off the list is a donut shop that has been around since 1926. An institution here in the Austin area, Round Rock Donuts has been ranked by Buzzfeed as the best donut shop in the great state of Texas. Serving their signature orange colored glaze donuts as well as an assortment of other sweet delectables, Round Rock Donuts is a fabulous breakfast spot to start anyday.
After a quick coffee at Mi Mundo Coffeehouse and Roastery I head over to my favortie Italian Restaurant in Round Rock, Texas, Palermo Pasta House. With an owner whose family is from Palermo, Sicily this place does Pasta right. Handmade and cooked to order. With a variety of different styles of pastas and sauces you will thoroughly enjoy a delicious bowl of pasta here for lunch.
Another quick stop at 3-Star Candy Store for some Ice Cream and a quick jaunt down to Memorial Park we then head over to another Round Rock staple: The Brass Tap! Best place for beer and happy hour in downtown Round Rock, The Brass Tap has been serving up cold brews for almost a decade with a choice of over 150+ beers by tap and bottle. You are spoiled for choice here.
To finish off I take you to where it all began for me both in Texas and on KZfaq. Wine Sansation is a local Wine Bar that I worked at back in 2016-2017 as my first job after moving to Texas. Back in 2021 when I first started my channel my spolight of Wine Sensation was the first video I ever did. The place has meant so much to me over the years. I hope you enjoy the Tapas and Wine as much as I did.
