I remember playing this & my favourite was rasputin his animations were funny to watch.......however it's biggest let down was that it just couldn't match street fighter for diversity

This game doesn't perform like Street Fighter, but have you played the others? From the second onwards even the Jet got pretty interesting.

@Cospe Fichas - Arcade Nope I didn't bother with the others I concentrated on the other neo geo games I.e. magician lord & world baseball I never went back to this particular fighting game series.......I don't know what caused neo geo to stop trading but? the company's diversity is sorely missed

@@martinthrone7012 I understood. It would have been great if they had invested in continuing World Heroes at the level it was in the last few titles. Maybe there wasn't a good financial return.

Holy shit I vaguely remember playing this when I was a little kid! This game was so awesome!! I love it! Wow ! I would live to see this game get re-made . obviously a smaller budget game but just make it please!😆

fun to play , but visually this series is one of the worst of snk (adk more exactly). The character design and sprites are poorly drawn or plagiarized from other fighting games (sometimes under parody cover but it looks more like lack of inspiration) The choppy animation unworthy of a neo geo (but better from the second episode). I don't like very much this game but I admit it is inseparable of the legendary snk system ,a serie which have marked the neogeo era.

The Bosses on this game suck for use. They dont have enough moves. The transformation from Geegus don't count as those are not his moves are the character's he transforms into. Dio only has like 3 moves and all 3 suck. Nostalgia is the only thing that brings me back to this game. World Heroes aren't really like good games in my opinion. Otherwise at least one of the character would've made it to King of Fighters but not of them made it.

Really this game has aged badly, but it was so wonderful to have played it in my childhood. I only disagree with you because the latest games in the franchise are fun and with more variations of moves.

@@Jan61083 World heroes perfect and 2 Jet are OK. Nothing as good as Fatal Fury or Samurai Showdown or even Art of fighting. Undoubtedly from SNK The King of Fighters series are the best.
