yes and he is not desperately agreeing with guests and shifting the story and focus onto himself, like some of his colleagues are doing, he just shares his perspective and experience but not in a narcissistic way

I'm 43 and I always wanted to marry but never wanted to have children. It was refreshing to hear Marie speak about her inner knowing and following it. I appreciated Steven reflecting on how biased society is towards women who don't follow the prescribed path and allowing Marie to talk more about it. I also appreciated Steven being aware of his bias...as soon as Marie said she didn't want to marry or have children his immediate response was "why" but yet we don't do the same for someone that expresses they want to get married and have children...maybe we should be asking "why" when people express wanting to follow the societal norms.

My God! I'm sitting in my atelier at the University, tearing up by how mind-blowing the idea of being ok to do multiple jobs/interests at one time. I'm 36 and last year I started my second school at an Art University, in the same time as being an entrepreneur who works a minimum of 10 hours a day at 2 jobs. The society's paradigm of how we are supposed to live our life can make us feel unhappy. But my inner voice was just activated by hearing you say that it is ok to touch all these parts of my life. I'm so grateful for this interview and for the interactions you have, that I'm sure I will be listening to this many more times. 🙏 THANK YOU!

Poor soul Amy was, she was kind of forced to do the concerts, including her last one held in the Belgrade, Serbia. The picture of her on the stage, not dead but apparently neither alive she was mumbling as the crowd boo her,may God forgive them because those were the last words she heard bcs later shhe was found dead in the hotel room. Toxicology confirmed I think that she had benzo combo with our wine distilled hard liquor. God bless Amy, and the crowd she performed for. I was a little fart back then, now I'm even bigger fart but I know a few more things.😢❤

I had the same experience at 7 and my mom taught me never to depend on man or anyone and I took that to heart and good thing cause I ended up raising 4 boys on own with no help and retired at 32 and turned 40 this yr and now remarried and happy but was glad I had own homes and cars and finances to bring to table and that I am proud I was able to take Care of my kids without help or desperate and showed them what's possible. I'm proud of myself even though no one has ever told me and even my family made me feel like I didn't or wasn't enough. Taken till now to be happy and proud of myself and not care what other think. It was so hard and went through hell and back but I always worked on myself and been in personal development even before a thing.

I never looked at it as bad thing and helped me out a lot but saw the resemblance when she spoke about it . I worked on myself and healing from young age and then really got it and set in several years ago after I left a bad relationship but thankful for the journey .

Been following this women since 2017 when i learnt that my then partner had a drug addiction. I would listen to her podcast on the way to work and back home. She helped me through some real dark times. It’s nice to listen to her in her 40s. I am 40 in 2 years and 1 week from today 😂 Ive been looking for role models of women in their 40s and totally forgot about Marie. This interview was great and needs more views from women. ❤

I am amazed! There was 100% resonance with what u said about " wanting what u want "..my god!...I have never been able to share this with anyone thinking people would cal me weird. But when it was spoken about out loud in this podcast...it allowed me to take me an emotion breath! Thank you !!! Didn't know there were other humans who have the same thoughts! Phew!

On the topic of honesty about what you do or don’t want to do.. today I was invited to dinner and ~upgraded~ from “I can’t..” to “I think I’m going to go home.” Afterwards, I decided that I don’t need to say “I think”, as I had heard someone do the same thing earlier, and recognized it was silly. I do really value my choice of words and believe that little things like this can make a huge difference over time.

I love that Marie said there are other great coaches with academic backgrounds but the fact she explored her other interests meant that she could bring an energy and uniqueness to her coaching and is equally a great coach as a result. Often we are led to believe academic achievements define success, but for those who aren't academic or do not have the opportunities to take that path (like me), it is great to be reminded that thos isn't true at all - Marie illustrates this beautifully.
