TRUE Story: I', at the World of Commodore and I'm walking by a dude that looks exactly like Dr. Chris Edwards and I had to stop and say, "Boy. you look an awful lot like Chris Edwards". Sure enough it was the legend and just as funny and outgoing as in his Videos only better! Great Show with guys like Rank(Minimig), Looie(PlanetCSS), Joe(jpppbm) , JJ and Many more. Great attendance...I even took the first selfie of my life with THE Chris Edwards (Yes, the Magnet hangs on the Wall of Fame now!). Best, Mark!

Using those C64 external drive cases is cool. I like that FREE (nice case) Athlon PC. Keep the snow up there.

I enjoyed the video and the walk around. I am glad to see that TPUG is still going strong. I was a member back in the 8 bit daze, but because I live on the wet coast, I let my membership lapse. It is funny, that you mentioned all my kids favourite Amiga games, and my (still) favourite productivity programs such as, Pro Write, Superbase Pro, (still using) Maxiplan, and my fav driving game of all time, Test Drive. You did mention F-18, but the most useful game for me, was FSII. I used it as a procedures trainer for practicing my emergencies in preparation for quarterly Sim sessions, as well as check rides. It wasn't perfect, but it was good enough. Good times. I am 80, so I am just happy I can remember stuff.

Thanks for coming and the chats. I did end up fixing a couple fryers when you caught me on the way out of the hotel early. If I knew you were surprising us, I would have given you a nickel tour of Niagara Falls, you passed right by my house. And maybe some adult refreshments to take home. 😃

Well at 20:32 you will see me unpacking the amiga 1000 in its original boxes. My amiga 500 i bought in 1988 and my commodore 64 original bbs hardware configuration using the c64c 1764 ram expander. 4 1581 disk drives and 2 software device moded 1541 drives. I guess you didnt see the amiga stuff as you passed it 3x lol. Well it can be seen in your video 36:50 to bad i missed the 1581 cases. One of mine is damaged. I would of l9ved to talk amiga with yoy

Damn, I miss Swiss Chalet... they used to be here in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area but tore down their restaurant on Niagara Falls Blvd around 2010. :( I used to have that exact model red case BITD and that thing is insanely huge, but I needed something big to house an insanely huge CPU cooler (which I still have for some reason) and DVD burners and internal Zip drives etc etc etc. Also for some reason I have 2 boxed copies of Textcrap (not a typo) Plus and I don't remember how the hell that happened and why I saved them. #RandomMemories

I have been looking for a NOS boxed copy of 3.9. I found a NOS boxed copy of 3.5 on ebay about 2 years ago. Seems like mostly 8 bit stuff there, though I would have loved to dig through all the books, magazines, software there.

I use this FF on my A2000 setup, gives a really good image on Nec71vm, no! problem with interlace and no missing lines on TFT in lowres!

Of course I saw myself ignore you and walk by your camera. Mind you I was infatuated with my $25 C64 breadbin purchase and not hyperfocused on Amiga. One day I'll get back into the 16-bit CBM world, but this year's WoC was not the day.

Used the Phone Pak extensively in my "office" machine to handle my A/V studio phone line & provide free FAXes of catalogs etc. Totally configurable. Probably the only GVP product that I kept.

As I've noticed, there are less interest in the Amiga computer in north america than in europe.

not true, but this started as a PET show, then C64 was adopted in and took over, Amiga's only started showing up here 7 years ago when Keith D brought them . so maybe in another 40 years we will be on top

If you thought the traffic on the QEW was something (and how'd you end up on the 403?!) be very very happy that you didn't need to go near the 401. It's not the widest highway in North America for nothing. 😅
