I think the explorer who made a fatal assumption was just a humorous statement about Olimar or The President being severly caught off guard by the Segmented Crawbster's rolling attack. Self-depreciation on his part if you will.

Here's an theory about the explorer that Olimar mentions in the Piklopedia. Maybe it was someone who found out about PNF-404 due to Olimar logs about the planet similar to why there are many people who need rescuing in Pikmin 4.

I hadn't noticed that different to the Segmented Crawbster's violent explosion of its innards in its death animation, the Armurk's soft body gently melts away as the shell remains there (minus the standard Hey! Pikmin enemy despawn).

Yeah, I think it's interesting how much of an experiment 'Hey!Pikmin' is. It's just very different from its 3D sequels. I think they really tried to make different enemies and make this sequel almost feel like it's own stand-alone concept of this world.

We wish the Segmented Crawbster or at least a relative of it or juvenile version of it appeared in Pikmin 4. It was always an interesting creature design and would be interesting with Rock Pikmin, maybe being able to break it's claw, or armor to be able to attack it. Also, fun fact, in the U.S version of Pikmin 2, one of the treasures you find in the Cavern of Chaos (where the Crawbster is fought) is a crab claw. Also, how about a video on the Peaceful planter, the Mamuta along with less then friendly child.

I think your idea on reintroducing the segmented crawbster with some combat mechanic tweaks would be awesome. Also, don't worry, mamuta and his unfriendly child will be introduced eventually ✨️

I just love how I just realized how mamuta is the nicest creature, but it spawns the creature that I HATE SO MUCH because of night expeditions :D

Could Amphitubers be next? Also speaking of amphibians, i believe Bulborbs, Breadbugs and Phosbats are highly evolved amphibians rather than mammals as most people think.

@@RNiverse Something curious is that Olimar mentions that the Phosbat has Chromatophores, a structure that's completely absent on mammals and birds, but amphibians (and others) do have them. Also bulborb larva could be tadpoles? I guess? And yes, amazing content. 👌🏼

Y'know, I've always found it strange how the pikmin dev's just decided to give expansionism to one enemy that appears in one game (that being the slurker) Eitherway, it would be cool if you could make a video on them (aswell as putting them along with the jellyfloat's too.)
