90mm auto cannon jingles??? Every time you get something wrong we should get a day off from the salt mines!

Hay Jingles, I found Easter egg in World of Warships that I think you'll find interesting. If you look at either the forward or rear most gun turrets on the German Tier 8 cruiser Admiral Hipper you will notice the word Glowworm inscribed on the right side of both turrets. After a little research I found that this is in homage to the HMS Glowworm, a British Destroyer that the Admiral Hipper engage in battle with and was eventually was rammed by her. Sadly the Glowworms, which had already sustained massive damage from the Hipper's cannon fire, had her bow torn off from the strike which lead to her boilers exploding shortly after ramming and drifting away from the Hipper, killing 109 of her men. 40 of her men where pulled out of the water by the Admiral Hipper while they were attempting to also find and save one of their men thrown overboard, unfortunately 6 of these men did not make it later on because of their wounds. This battle also marked the first time of the second world war where the Victoria Cross was awarded. It was awarded to a Lieutenant Commander Gerard Broadmead Roope after the British authorities received a letter of recommendation from the Admiral Hipper Captain, Hellmuth Heye, who sent the letter through the red cross. After the British command read the captains first hand account of Roope's valiant courage in the face of a superior warship they gladly accepted Heye recommendation and awarded Roope the Victoria Cross. Roope sadly never saw the award as he had drowned when he had lost his grip rope while being pulled aboard the Hipper during rescue operations. As a long time fan of your shows, I figured you would find this story interesting, as well as since it is also an Easter egg and since Easter eggs are so rare in any of Wargaming's titles to begin with. I hoped that you might share this with everyone else in a future episode of Mingles with Jingles since it is such an interesting tail. PS, I don't think anyone else has ever found this Easter egg before, they probably wouldn't since any camo you equip would hide it anyways. The only reason I found it was because I'm a Student studying to be a video game developer, which has now give me a greater attention to game model textures. Go figure. Ye the O-I is not overpowered at all. It absolutely didnt power creep every other tier 6 tank, nope. The whole Japanese heavy tank like has definitely been a great addition to the game right?! Its not like you get some pretty powerful tanks at first and then you get the most shitty tanks for their tier.. no, no this line is perfectly balanced comrade, no problem here, move along

You know what Mr Jingles, as entertaining as I find your videos, every time I watch one of these it reinforces my decision to stop playing WoT. I used to get SO angry at stuff like that. Keep up the good work!

I was once in my TOG on Prokorovka when I noticed the enemy team had a platoon of ELCs. They all rushed the hill towards the middle of the match and saw me, probably seeing an XP piñata. Don't think they thought about it for more than 5 seconds, seeing as I killed one of them first thing. Then the other two had the bright idea to ram her majesty's ship, basically squashing them into pancakes. In that case, it was tiny slim and stupid light tanks.

I thought maybe that KV-5 driver had only just got the tank and didn't know about the armour and weakspots so I checked him out on Noobmeter. He's got 2,866 battles in the thing! He's played 23k battles total and the KV-5 is his most played tank! The mind boggles. I wonder if he's played all 2,866 battles in it firing HE.

The O-I replay was nice, but because they're sooooo big and ssooooo slow they attract every enemy artillery gun tube on the planet, one of the few tanks that cannot drive out of the aiming reticle before the artillery round takes its sweet time to arrive ;)

What a fun video!

I was beginning to question Jingles when he was asking why in the world KV-5 drivers love the hill in Himmelsdorf, but he finally came back around and realized that everyone knows damn-well why. Funnily enough I have a video where I also squashed an SU-152 (they don't seem to have much luck with hill-bound KV-5s I guess) as well as a VK3601H in rapid succession. That moment when you can observe their realization of the inevitable makes chugging up that hill worth it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. :V
