We went hands-on with an early pre-alpha build of The War Within, the next expansion of World of Warcraft. And while it's not as earthshattering as its predecessor, Dragonflight, we suspect there's a lot of undiscovered potential lurking beneath the surface.

@@dovahbrewer Which more than the half of those subs are gold farmers with multi accounts log in per day, another percentage are players that has been lifetime playing the game and are by now unable to quit, and every new player hates the startup experience and surely quit after lvl 20 because the tutorial took too long and was boring

But that’s every mmo, there’s nothing else to them really. Just hop on to challenge yourself in that content or hop on to be social and casually do things. They’re all bout the same

Yeah... theres NOTHING ELSE... No Battlegrounds, no Arenas, no special events such as Plunderstorm, no world quests, no story campaigns, theres no RP servers with RP events, there's no professions, no mount, xmog farming, no pet battles.. NADA... THERE'S NOTHING ELSE AT ALL.

The best part of hero talents, is that they serve as horizontal progression instead of just more vertical progression. They can just keep adding more hero talents to offer different play styles, instead of just endlessly adding to the current talent trees.

Leveling experiences are not representative of an expansion's quality. They represent less than 0.1% of the experience across 2 years. It's the raiding, the m+, the systems that make an expansion and how you are going to engage with it.

the game has just had to many problems for years. they really just need to do a 2.0. the game is in no way fun anymore overall, lore has been butchered, ppl focus on parses like if its a job, they make you buy books just to get the entireity of an expansion....nah :/

Hero talents look really boring and most people are just going to follow a guide pick the highest damage one like always. It just makes the Dragonflight talent system even worse, very quantity > quality.
