Thanks for the Thekal explanation. Most videos ppl guide this on, have no idea how or why it works, they just reset him & bim bada bom he goes to 2nd phase. But now I understand how it actually works. And this was a bit easier than how i do it.

How do you get the devil to return to his waiting position?

Setting the pet to stationary (Stay) before going into the room, then sending to attack, and switching to passive after the firebolt goes off will send him back to his (stay) position, not to your side.

Yes, especially at 80 you can just use the regular raiding specs. No special talents needed for this farm.

@@menantoran I'm still struggling on cat boss. I'm 5.7 gs but the stupid guy won't go into his last faze.

@Budweiser-jh9uj hes definitely finnicky sometimes. The pull is really important - make sure when you are mounted you aggro the three guys on the platform just thekal is about to reach his spot. This way it is more likely that when you run him out of the arena he will go into phase 2.

The healing from the set is irrelevant, you should be getting enough healing from the talents and funnel. If you find the pet dying a lot, it's more beneficial to take improved health funnel in the talent tree rather than using level 70 gear.
