In pc, Bayard has stock 30 mm HE pen, 1/5 he penetration.

I destroyed a half health hood with my atlanta, 1 minute left, that’s how strong Atlanta is, and she’s a tier bully. Unfortunately, WG said they took away majority of the things in the birthday event, due to an “error”, and my atlanta was with them. I may sound just crazy but I did have an Atlanta. I’m not asking anyone to bring it back, I’m just saying my thoughts here.

I haven't tried it, but it might actually not be a bad idea to get into midrange and AP her. The armour is very thin, just mind the torps.

I think Bayard will win the battle. I consistently citadelled a Schorrs (forgot the name) with my New Orleans. I think soviets are more vulnerable than the French, a bit

Got this ship because of the fashionable look. I had some bad games out of the gate playing aggressively and flanking like Mainz. I fell pray to carriers twice. She also does not have a radar or sonar. Playing her at stand-off like the Kuznetsov seems to work better. Great video.

Keep in mind that you're facing much bigger, and often more accurate guns in tier 8. It's a lot less forgiving :) but other than that, yep, same sort of style.

Fun story, I was battling an Edinburgh in the Bayard yesterday. They knew what they were doing, fierce battle, took almost half the game, but I ended up landing a torp with a good prediction and came out alive (barely) at the end. Don't underestimate a good cruiser captain, no matter what they're sailing :)

Fun and games with Terry -After winning just 2 of my first 10 with her, I am 8 for 17 having switched to dispersion and turn mods. You just don’t want to lead the charge with this one. The AP rounds are actually good too against DDs

Once I read the description of this ship, I knew I would love it. As I watched your review I did 133,870 damage in a game aslo receiving four medals. Great video Terry and keep up the good work.

Great reviews Terry, i am not a fan of this ship, I actually hate playing it so much I ended up selling, the only premium ship I’ve ever sold with no regrets lol by no means a bad ship but i myself can not play it the way i like, very very limiting in my opinion

Well all the French destroyers were built except for the tier X Kleber. The French cruisers were built up to tier VII the Algerie. And for the battleships they were built up to the tier V the Bretagne, and tier VIII the Richelieu. So that wouldn’t be most but some of the French ships that were never built.

Kutuzov has slightly longer range, more torps and a smoke, giving her some aggressive opportunities, but as an HE spammer, I'd take Bayard. Both very dangerous ships even in bottom tier.

yes. It's a flamethrower with paper armour, good concealment and she can outrun destroyers.

I haven't played the Chappy yet, only Shchors and Kutuzov. So far, for me, Bayard is a monster at range, and I like her speed & agility, but it's not a huge difference. Hard counters to HE spamming CLs are CAs, and Bayard's AP feels weaker than the Soviet ones. I think they're all excellent ships in their own right.

Atlanta's historical camo. She's the latest member in my "favourite ships" club, after I removed the mothballs and went through the battle honour grind. She'll be featured in her new outfit soon.

Yes, she does die very quickly. If a CV focuses on me in earnest, I pop the engine boost and try to get myself behind a USN BB :)

This is just my opinion but I’ve never really cared for the paper ships in the game. Now This ship is absolutely beautiful don’t get me wrong, but the fact that she never even made it to the drawing boards just kind of turns me away. I’m a history buff so I basically just play the game for the historical warships. Which in this case would be the la galisoniere and de grasse which are this cousins that were built before and after WW2. Idk That’s just my opinion though.

I know, it's a bit like that for me as well. For every ship review, I spend some time trawling my usual sources for details, looking for something interesting about them, and maybe some black & white pics I can throw into the video. When the only thing coming up is Wargaming's wiki, well... That said, both De Grasse and La Galissonniere are absolutely amazing ships, and the tech tree one holds up very well.

Fun and games with Terry Yeah I’m at La Galissonniere now in the French cruiser line and she is a great ship! Really good for erasing destroyers! Lol I have been thinking about working up to the Algerie, but I hear she isn’t that good. What are your thoughts on the Algerie?

I very rarely skip ships, and if so, only tier 2 & 3. I sometimes use it for captain retraining, otherwise saving up for legendary modules, once there's one I'd actually take
