Homemade Chili Recipe: Chop up 1 medium onion and 1/2 of green pepper into small pieces Squeeze the meat out of sweet Italian sausage skin. Place a pot over medium heat. Place ground beef, sweet Italian sausage meat, chopped onions & green peppers into the pot. Add 1 tsp of minced garlic and cook it for approx 10 mins until it browns Meanwhile, drain the juice from 15 oz cans of pinto beans and red kidney beans... Reduce heat to low, and pour beans into the pot of meat, and stir Add a little tomato sauce about 3/4 cups, 1 15 oz can of diced tomatoes, and 6 oz can of tomato paste, and stir Then add 1/2 cup of beef broth and stir again Add seasons..... 1/4 cup of Chili powder, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 1 tbs of oregano, 1 tbs of cumin, 1 tsp of celery salt, 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1 tsp of onion powder, 1 tsp of black pepper, and 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper and stir in well Add 1 bay leaf and allow the chili to simmer on low heat for 20-30 minutes

I made this one last night and it turned out great! Followed the recipe to a T, and used 1 lb each of ground turkey and sausage. Celery salt is a pain to find, but I did find old bay seasoning (celery salt is the main ingredient) so I used that. I think it will be my new standard chili recipe.
