They are not in pain. Their ears are pricked the whole class. They love to show off. They are athletes cared for better than we care for our children at times!

All these comments obviously you dont know the difference between saddlebreed and Tennessee walkers i hace worked on both show circuit yes Tennessee walkers is bad i have seen it all but americam saddlebreed i gotta defend them this is all natural with just a regular shoe on and then pad between the are born with this natural high trot

At least this is a step in the right direction and they do not have weighted shoes and chains like Big Lick. Now to stop the tail nicks.

How terribly sad for these horses. They barely make 5 laps around the ring and are lathered up from the stress. Broken tails, weighted shoes, horrible pelham bits in their mouths. Very sick.

These are not Tennessee walker and they have on regular shoes this is a natural trot and rack

I know that they are not TW's, they do use weighted shoes, and the slow gait and the rack are man made gaits, not natural. And by the way, those tail are definitely not natural. @@terrykennedy4023

they dont have broken tails, their tails move fine; they dont have weighted shoes, you are thinking of the tennessee walkers, these are saddlebreds, its a different breed of horse!! youre thinking of the big lick TWH, that class does not exist in saddlebreds.

Wrong breed, these are Saddlebreds, not Tennessee Walking horses. American Saddlebreds are governed by the same governing body as the Olympic team.

WRONG BREED! That is Tennessee Walkers you are thinking of. Baby Saddlebred's in a field move like this naturally. This is a trotting breed, you cannot sore them, as they would be off and be excused from the ring. Saddlebred's are governed by the same governing body as the United States Equestrian Team.

I watched for about 2 minutes (all I could tolerate), and didn't see any horse take a natural step. Bizarre how people can convince themselves that what they do to these horses looks great.

Go watch some Saddlebred foals running in a field. They are selectively bred to move like that naturally. Sadly to the general public, they get misidentified as Tennessee Walkers and The Big Lick. They are not abused to get this gait, they do not wear stacks, they are not sored. They are governed by the same governing body as the United States Equestrian team. No abuse is tolerated.

@@asrottiesNo Abuse??? What about cutting a horses tail off?? Theyre tail carriage is not natural like the arabian horses. These horses and riders look absolutely ridiculous!! No wonder they use circus music , theyre all fkn clowns. None of those horses have healthy psychological minds, they’re completely off their rockets!! And yes i can tell the difference between highly spirited horses like my arabians and these mental case horses!!

A long time ago I got to ride a Tennessee Walker without a saddle, no shoes and tail wasn't broken. That was the easiest horse that I have ever ridden. But what these people are doing to these animals is pure cruelty. Everyone should boycott. 😢😢😢

These the not Tennessee Walkers, this is NOT the Big Lick. These are Saddlebreds and they are bred to move like this. Through selective breeding, these horse are born to move like this. You can watch a Saddlebred foal running in a field that moves just like this. Just like anything, some are more athletic than others. Through training and conditioning, the best of the best will rise to the highest levels of the sport. It is no different than a human athlete. Saddlebreds are governed by the same governing body as the United States equestrian team. NO abuse is tolerated.

Poor horses, cruel people. Perhaps the people should wear weighted shoes and have their wrists cut so their hands stick up in a permanent wave. Then they might stop torturing the horses.😢

This is a form of torture for the horses. The tail is broken to set it like that. They go through something called soring to get the big lick trot. That involves acid and chains that causes great pain. The shoes put their hooves at an odd angle, hurting the tendons. Shame on the people that participate in this. It is truly barbaric.

WRONG!! Youre talking about tennesee walkers, these are NOT TW! these are saddlebreds! NO broken tails, NO weighted shoes, NO BIG LICK, this is SADDLE SEAT riding! no acid etc is used on the legs at all.

This is absolutely disgusting.. I’m a barrel racer so ik what abuse is and what’s not.. this horse is in soooo much pain this makes me sick that those people are cheering- it’s sick how people think this is beautiful. These people are not horse riders in-fact they have no clue what they are doing.

WRONG! These horses are not in pain. You are probably thinking of Tennessee Walking horses doing the Big Lick, which is horrific and cruel. These are Saddlebreds, they are bred to move like this. Look closer and you will see these horses are NOT in distress. They are governed by the same governing body as the United States Equestrian Team and they wouldn't get away with cruelty. If the horse is off, it is excused from the ring so there would be no benefit to abusing a horse like that.

Why do people even go to these shows, its terribly wrong to to do this! The horses have broken tails, weighted shoes, and Pelham bits! I feel so bad for children who are taught to ride like this. These people abuse their horses just to win money! #banbiglick&saddleseat!
