The Gemera has room for 4 adults and luggage ! That's more practical than a lot of common cars !

It doesn’t because the Valkyrie is 2271 lbs and the Speed Tail is 3521 lbs and the Valkyrie has more hp which should boost it more and since it is 1300 lbs lighter it should be quicker

Plaids a good car! But should only be compared to other electric cars like McMurtry spierling. 765lt should be compared to supercars but beats hyper cars aswell, like the original sf90. They then upgraded the electric motor just to take on the 765lt. It normally takes a 1000hp & a bit of lightness to give the mclarens a run for their money

@Equalevolution all production street legal cars can be compared with each other whether ice, hybrid or electric. How much a car cost is the only reason cars should not be compared. Mcmurty is a one-off race car not really fair to compare it to a warrantied production street car anybody can buy. Sf90 beats the 765lt in drag, roll, track and top speed.

121mph is not that fast these days. I go faster than that on my Harley on a regular basis and that bike is almost 21 years old and stock standard. Same with my RCZ, it will cruise at 150mph where it is limited and that is a 1.6ltr engine

I hear you. I rode a motorcycle for twenty-five years and I feel MUCH more cofortable riding them, at ANY speed than I do driving an automobile. When I am driving a car, I feel like the "Wizard of Oz," standing behind the curtain, puling levers and turning knobs on the machine. My motorcycle, on the other hand, is an extension of my body! It can accelerate like a rocket to get me out of trouble and stop on a dime! I don't need to "steer" it. Flexing my glutes alternately is enough to lean the bike into any turn, simply by looking where I want to go. Anyway, after a "near-death" experience (epileptic grand mal seizure, six (6) brain surgeries, paralytic stroke and five (5) years in the hospital and Skilled Nursing facility,) my days of owning motorized vehicles of ANY kind are OVER! My next modes of transportation will be: my own feet, pulling a wagon or sled, depending on the weather and a SCHWINN "Meridian" trike w/basket on back for summertime. I'll try to keep the SCHWINN under 150 mph! 😊@@jamier7073

What tires do they use for vehicles on the Bonneville salt flats? Hennessy or SSC would need to butter up some darpa or Lockheed skunk works guys. For some super high tech tires. I figured he'd get help before the others since they are the only Americans. I like SSC more than Hennessy. But I do like Hennessy. What kills me is the prices of these cars. They are just not worth it. The price drops so so fast after you have had it for a while. Especially a Hennessy vehicle.

While aerodynamics are certainly a huge factor (especially if you don't want to crash), the land speed record was set by the ThrustSSC jet-powered "car" that has over 100,000hp. So ~98,000 more horsepower than any of these cars.

@@inactive67 All these cars are limited at 350km to be road legal, if you want to go over that speed you have to go to an official service to take that setting off and go to the track, if you do it outside the track there will be super huge consequences.

The list here is not in order of fastest, you can’t use theoretical speed. The Rimac for example is fastest in this list in 1/4 mile but would not be the fastest in top speed. Also the top speed models are not as fast around a track. Really pointless and shallow comparison. It’s not just about top speed it’s also about how it gets there, for example the Koenigsegg gets up to speed much faster than the Bugatti. Also the Bugatti has their own test facility to do the runs and the others not, there are many factors including where you even attempt the top speed run. To be fair they all need to be in the same location in the same weather conditions with the same tyres ideally.

The 0-60 of the Owl #10 is faster than any other car on the list. Which makes you wonder who makes these lists. The #1 Jesko doesn't have the highest HP, top speed or fastest 0-60 yet it's still number 1. Perplexing.

The Telsa Plaid can run 0-60 in under 2 seconds. A bunch of cars on this list take 2.5 seconds. But of course by speed they mean top speed, not 0-60 speed.
