Ideally, you should have your hand relaxed with palms facing up. The digital BP cuff 1-2 inches above elbow line, tubing in the middle of arm, level to your heart, legs uncrossed, don't move to help with accuracy :) Thanks for this review and new tech for health monitoring, hope you get it under control with lifestyle change and exercise. I'm medicated with amlodipine and atorvastatin for prehypertension; but the COVID mutations pushed me to drop 10kg the past 7 months to get to normal BMI. Cheers Chigz!

Thank you for your professional advice, hypertension is called the silent killer for a reason. You usually do not feel any symptoms, and without regular checks, the health consequences can be very severe for your heart, kidneys, or brain. The World Health Organization considers that forty-six percent of hypertensive patients are not even aware of being sick. Having a blood pressure monitor on the wrist is convenient to check bp everyday. Hope your body will be more and more healthy!

I have always said no smartwatches are medical grade standard. Yet. But a few have come close to that accuracy this one is surprisingly accurate.

Really intelligent reviews cuz you test vs standard medical devices. BP is tricky cuz people tend to have higher readings at doctor's office.

Nice point! Actually, the blood pressure value is different each time, and the blood pressure value varies with the measurement period, measurement posture and degree of relaxation.

I feel more scared in Doctor office than in my home, so my level of relaxation is different, thats why readings are different on home and office and both using medical devices

Look at the testing for this model, the Systolic is typically off by 10. The Diastolic is also off. This manufacturer has another model that claims to lot be more accurate. It’s doesn’t interface with Apple Health. Accuracy is very important to me. The other model has less feathers.

Bro the diastolic numbers are very far apart from what you got on the ordinary monitor then the smart watch. The technology is not there yet to monitor this accurately. I bought a similar one then compared them values and it was not that close. I expected 2 to 5% error but got far higher difference. It’s not safe to use a smart watch for bp yet

Thanks for your opinion, the design of BP Doctor Pro involved more than 30 new patents relating to its miniaturised pumps, valves and chips, some of which are no larger than a grain of rice. By miniaturizing the components for traditional oscillometric measurement, BP Doctor is capable of using an inflatable cuff within the watch band to take an accurate blood pressure reading just like a regular upper-arm oscillometric machine found in a doctor's surgery.

Started with walking twice a day, morning and evening. 1 mile per walk. That helped bring it down. Trying to get back into an active lifestyle.

the reason the SPO monitor gave 1% difference is because you used the medical device on finger and the watch on pulse , pulse have a higher concentration of SP0 oxygen than the finger, closer to heart = more oxygen in blood

Abhi tak aise koi bhi technology nhi aayi h jisse lights and lights receiving sensors ke through BP check Kiya ja sake you can only measure hearth rate, o2 level, nd stress level. Real BP monitoring smart watch has air bags straps in it.

App is safe, I’m from the UK. You need the app to install and pair the watch to your phone. Thereafter you don’t need to open the app if you don’t need detailed reports.

First off, the blood pressure monitor you are using is not accurate as you would never be getting the first two ridiculous diastolic readings as you did. Therefore, using this as the gauge to determine if the watch is accurate makes no sense. My guess is the watch is probably not wildly off but at the price they are charging I would just use a reliable monitor and take several readings during the day.
