This thing is terrifying in the sense that its got SO much energy that it just doesn't move, which is in many ways more terrifying, like you would walk up to it and think "oh its nothing its not even moving" and then you put your foot on it to slow it down or something and it rips your entire pelvis out.

Ive been randomly watching videos from different time periods and as someone who isnt an expert in welding they do seem to look better over time! You kinda inspire me to get back into/more into teaching myself stuff bc things that seem impossible to do seem actually very self-teachable. Like your scrapyard video where you fix drills somehow? You need to make the pivot slightly offset from the center axis. It'll still stay upright because it's a big gyroscope, but it'll rip around the room

I hope you come back to this at some point. This was really exciting! Look for whatever causes a top to wander around. Possibly a hemisphere shaped foot in contact with the ground and some adjustment to make it more or less top-heavy to tune it. More weight at the rim and possibly swords would also be cool.

This absolutely needs a revisit but build a pendulum from the ceiling like the claw that's holding it but make it stay held on to it and wreck averting around it swinging around on a death blade from the ceiling pleasseee!
