Not just the men, even the women are putting in their dedication to carry the massive floats. It looks very heavy, at least over 100 people to carry.

Only the women carry the float of Mary. Wow, super strong Guatemalan women!

Those floats are gigantic and heavy, but the carriers show no sign of tiredness. True belief and loyalty indeed.

So many churches in Antigua at every block of the street, so there must be processions going on all day long nonstop for one whole week. Wow, that is faith and love!

From what I read, all the decorations and embellishments used for the floats are handmade. Even the dresses are handmade with real gold!

What I heard.. the processions are all day long, every day until almost midnight for the whole week. Friday is the biggest celebration in Antigua at every church. The people who wanted to carry the floats must registered at 1-2 year before to be chosen. A very well prepared process.
