1. 99% beggars nowadays don't accept food, 2. When given old clothes they ask for better options like jeans, salwar etc, 3. They don't accept loose change & ask for bigger currency notes. Also, check carefully the currency notes, when given ₹5 note, they scoff. Real needy people are not beggars, they belong to very poor households who might be facing truly difficult times. They starve, yet don't ask for alms due to their dignity. If someone really wants to help then they should help out a needy family, not throw cash around while walking on the streets & be happy in their own minds for "helping" a person in disparity.
