Let's be honest, we all have preconceptions about Africa before going there. But if there's one country in Africa that you may have heard good things about in the media, it's Rwanda. It's so clean and organized, they said. But reading about it is one thing, actually experiencing it was another. I wasn't expecting at all what I found in Kigali, being that the country was destroyed barely over 20 years ago. I was so shocked that I had to go and support Rwanda in a basketball game, and see if I could help them over the top against the mighty Cape Verde.

Yes it is. I'm also black in South America and it is possible but it will take alot of work and time. Some people won't get rid of their bad habbits it will take them some time to adapt to it. We started cleaning campains all around the city and educated people on tv and gave them flyers and info and started adding more trash bins and recycling bins for only cans and plastic bottles for recycling and i have to say my country is cleaner then ever. Some people may continue their bad habbits but it's verry mininal now so to make a change people need to do something about it.

I used to travel to Kigali for work and Rwanda never seized to amaze me with its transformation into a peaceful, unified, polite, stable society despite it being a small country with a relatively large population! Rwandans are a proud people and for a very good reason. In 1994. the west had been mostly focused on Bosnia because it's in Europe. Today Bosnia is still a mess, while Rwanda has blossomed and they did it all on their own!! 👍👍
@berthekabwe871

Well the West started the mess in Rwanda particularly Belgium. The 1994 was a result of what the Belgium started during colonization. When people were dying the entire world watched and did nothing because they did not CARE!! 1994 was a wake up call to the people of Rwanda.

Secondly, try to visualize the words you're trying to learn both with a token representation in your mind, and spelling it out phonetically and actually. Also, repeat this step once every few minutes with increasing gaps in time. Hope this helps!

I think the U.S.A can be extremely dystopian. Some live in third world conditions, there's a struggling middle class, and some are living with the best amenities in the first world. I know it sounds like sugar coating, but the fact that that has been the seat of power in a long time and some people live in some despicable conditions and some others are living extremely good, the best tech and services in the world. Dystopian.

As a Nigerian, I feel like we should borrow Rwandese to come help manage our country. Sadly with all the bright minds we have. First they have to teach us how to live together in peace. At present it's our president using people of his Fulani ethnic group within and from outside Nigeria to disposes natives of their land comiting genocide. Leadership is very important. That's what got Rwanda back on its feet.

@@kiiza2886 Sorry Sir. Maybe this is due to a clash of cultures. In my country even a man with a pot belly and the latest SUV (V8) is very handsome. I believe it is also the same in your country. But I can go on to add. During my high School days one of the set books we studied for literature was Professor Wole soyinka's novel (Africa's nobel lauriate for literature from Nigeria) called "The lion and the jewel". According to the book the village teacher's girlfriend is married by the Village chief who had several wives. So how does handsomenes count here? I rest my case.

Maybe we do not have money like China but we have good products & nice people & wonderful hospitality for Africa (and African people). As Turkey, we are really focused on Africa to develop our relationship with African countries (and African people). There are many African students (and non-students) in Turkey and they live in peace and very friendly with Turkish people. Turkey welcomes all African people!
