That is the duty of Singapore as a good neighbor. Attract all these degenerates to your country, and if any Malaysian wants to watch them perform, he/she could easily go to Singapore. In the meantime, Malaysia can keep ourselves clean from the influence of semi-naked, 35-year-olds who thinks that she is still a teenager. As a Muslim, I say this is a win-win situation for both country.

Taylor Swift can adapt her costume or fashion sense the Malaysian way - baju kurung or the attractive sarong kebaya. These are Malaysian traditional dresses, yes? Tudung is not really part of original Malaysian or Malay traditional attire - they are foreign and imported from mid-eastern and Arab attire. Not suitable for hot humid tropical climate, and definitely not for high energy dances or movement. Bring in the exotic dances from Egypt (belly dances, can?), Turkey and the Central Asian "stan" countries. Leave Singapore alone to invite whatever artistes and performances their strict government allow.

Moreover, who knows it might be the subject of a heated quarrel in Parliament. The MPs are known to talk about small little things to cover up their lack of serious topic to talk because the MPs are too uneducated, too unskilled to even discuss serious matters of state. Malaysia is a country with a lot of advantages- plenty of land and natural resources, no natural disasters like earthquakes, weather is a bit hot but constant and very liveable all year round, people are generally peaceful and can get along with each other, surrounded by sea on a major sea route, on a continent which is peaceful and progressing………so it’s really is a country which can attract investments and people. Too bad about the government and the religion.

Malaysia had just been declared as the most visited country in South-East Asia by Tourism International. I think that is due to the kindness and the friendliness of the local people, especially the Muslim Malays. So you are right about its ability to attract people. As for Taylor Swift and other Western artists, I personally do not view their not coming to perform in Malaysia is a loss. Instead, this is what most native Malay Muslims want, to keep our country clean from the influence of a semi-naked, 35-year-old degenerates who think that she is still a teenager. Anyway, it is good that Singapore is willing to host them, so if any Malaysian want to watch them, they could easily go there. Singapore can be the champion of the "Rainbow Brigade" in SEA and let us Malaysians keep our "backward" traditions. We will not sell our souls to the "devil". Peace.

In Malaysia: - police can enter n raid your hotel room at any time if they suspect unmarried couples or LGBT are in the room together - 20 years jail n whipping for gay people - public display of affection (even hugging) is illegal - beyonce, kesha n rihanna are already banned for promoting “sexiness” - overly strict laws n rules, if u own the rainbow pride Swatch watch, it is 3 years jail! - Malaysia is rated the 2nd worst in the world for trans rights and malaysians are actually PROUD of that It is no wonder why singers n travellers avoid Malaysia altogether! That’s why People always say Malaysia is the “Taliban of South East Asia.”

Imagine midway when fans are singing, swaying and hopping in ecstasy enjoying themselves, the music suddenly stopped and the lights went off in a stadium filled with 55,000 young people. Kill switch. Actually Malaysia should focus on accommodating spillover tourists who are attending such events in Singapore. This way Malaysia does not need to spend money on infrastructure to host such events, don’t upset certain conservative segments of society and yet still benefit from increased tourism dollars. Malaysia should work to improve links between Johor and Singapore, higher more immigration officers to man the check in counters and perhaps look to revive the HSR and have it managed by Singapore’s transport ministry.

They have forgotten there are contenders around the world. When Malaysia doesn't grab it, other countries will. One of my favourites holiday destination is Langkawi. Hire a car , drove around and enjoy the local food . Was thinking to revisit Langkawi, but wiith the bad publicity of the restrictions on dressing , my wife and I decide to drop the visit. I was in Miri last March 2023. It was good. Have been to Kuching , Beaufort ( Sarawak) and Kota Kinabalu ( Sabah) and really enjoy the local cultures. The ambience, food and people are friendly.

There's a difference between being prudish and immoral. M'sia is probably prudish in attitude about the display of too much flesh. Immoral is totally different altogether. Immorality Is culturally wrongful behaviour , at least I believe to most cultures. Although I dont subscribe to the LGBTQ culture, I dont dismiss them as non-people. Have caught up with the news yet? IIRC the company which promotes TS concerts is also involved in consultancy works to make a KL sports stadium suitable for entertainments. The thinking was that with this company, M'sia could ask for TS. Alas, apparently this company didn't offer the Eras Tour to M'sia, was never on the cards. Probably scared of the Kill-Switch and the morality police.
