Summum means the sum total of all creation and Luca is derived from a Latin name which means bringer of Light.

I think LUCA (given that the achievement gives it in all caps) refers to the Last Universal Common Ancestor (of all life), but that's not really related to particles and anti/matter before the big bang Although my theory is that LUCA in game is the original atom, but I don't really have much ground to stand on there other than that it looks kinda like the old model of the atom Summum, if I remember my GCSE Latin correctly, can be roughly translated as something like pinnacle (where our word summit is from) although in philosophy it is used as "the sum of all creation", which makes sense given that its the ultimate being of green triangle form, which I suggest represents creation (as opposed to grey rectangle which is annihilation, what usually happens when antimatter/matter collide

LUCA is also an acronym, meaning: Last Universal Common Ancestor That being a term for the organism all life evolved from

use Aven (The Orange Character) to disappear into air when each shot is coming at you, the last 2 shots comes together so make sure to time the dodge perfectly. If you succeed then you can attack the flower and capture it, hope this helps.

nope, did the same. wound up with all the counterparts kit unlocked except seals. Not even sure if thats normal or not.

​@@burghleyimeanberdly6513 I guess that can happen to everyone who have the reflex to only follow the main quest once they are sure there's no secret hidden before it.

There's a skill which you can unlock late game, it can transfer a technique into a guard impact. All in the skill tree, some stay hidden until you progress in the skill tree further.

@@elitisdale9337You need to get the axe weapon, it's the charge skill for it where it transfers a skill to guard impact it vice versa. If you get one of the next abilities for it, you can time the release so it doesn't consume the charge

Amazing game, but needs accurate combos chain timings to win. It has a nice and unique style that no other game made.

With the „block“ of the orange character, you lessen any incoming damage dramatically. If you have good reflexes, you can release the block after getting hit to counter and (if you have the necessary skill unlocked) heal for a bit of the lost hp. The vanish simply ignores any and all attacks that would have hit you while you are away though for multi-hit attacks, you‘re better off not using it. And with the „counter“ you can absorb magic and certain fusion attacks (not physical), heal yourself an honestly pretty considerable amount and then counter. Hope this helped (if you haven’t figured it out by yourself by now).

I agree honestly, as much as I love this game the ending is pretty.. ass. It just left me confused and unsatisfied. Though, someone did post a translation of what the "God" said during the whole encounter on Steam, but it still didn't make much sense to me other than the last part where God pretty much tells you to go make a new universe... oookay?? But why? No one knows why, the game didn't give you an answer at all.

Even if you can put together a solid interpretation of the game's ending (God can't create something new so it just scatters life everywhere and assimilates whatever's strongest to try to force something new), it is still inherently unsatisfying to see everything you've built up throughout the game invalidated like that. It's like playing a game where you slowly become a master swordsman only for the ending to be that bloody Indiana Jones skit. That's what this was essentially.

I think I have an interpretation of what the ending is supposed to mean (God coming down and allowing you to change the balance between matter and antimatter to start the big bang, which is actually relatively consistent as a worldview with current science btw) but its still 100% really unsatisfying gameplay wise. Given the rest of the game is really good, I expected it to be something like hollow knights bad ending, where if you do other stuff then come back you can get a much more satisfying "true ending" I can even see an easy way this can be implemented if you are allowed to use the Summum mega technique on it to get an alternate ending where you actually kill God It seems like a real let down to me

It was left open to interpretation on purpose I do think they'll release DLCs or something in the future that'll result in a different ending (or at least I hope)

@SPYROSTSABOURIS yeah I really like how mysterious it is but it really feels like it could have been much more exciting than literally just a cutscene where you wait and nothing happens for most of it
