TY Lord, purify me and cleanse me as I work through this process. I repent for my part in this, my hatred that poisoned me, God take away all the pain, I repent for all my pride, hatred, and bitterness. I humble myself beneath your mighty hand. Make me and mold me into what you want me to be, in Jesus name, Amen

Good to write it for yourself too at home but thats a prayer to check you do it from the heart and for yourself not for others to see

Im so hungry for the Godly sorrow that leads to repentance. Ive no idea how bad its going to feel, but if anything like worldly sorrow and tears. The result is a new me for 1st time since time of birth. Years of torment is all i know. Jesus reveal to me what it is that kept me bound and im not willing to trust you fully. I need that intimate relationship with that overwhelms me .

Can I suggest that the simple and clear difference between Godly sorrow and wordly sorrow, is that one draws you closer to God and one draws you away from God...

Restoring Relationships I’m not referring to a sense of depression and anxiety when I ask if Godly sorrow has anything to do with hating your life. I’m asking from a scriptural basis, since Jesus said we needed to hate our lives. “Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life.” John 12:25

Raed Radha That’s what Jesus said. Although I think the secret is to be happy not loving your life to inherit eternal life. Sounds paradoxical I know. But Paul also said to seek contentment all the while suffering for Christ.
