We share with you the process of hopping on a ferry and then arriving to the other side. Upon arrival, we visit some of the areas near the port including trying some Turkish sweets and walking around.

The general name of the pastry you had called ' Börek ' There are many types of Börek. The one you are eating is ' Su Böreği ' The other types can be in different shapes, slightly different cooked with minced meat , potato or spinach. We love to cook them at home aswell. It is best with black tea. Afiyet Olsun 🙂

Just for clarification, Bosphorus is not a river. It is the sea. A narrow sea. Since geographicly rivers born from Mountains to the sea. But Bosphorus doesnt start from any Mountain. It is the sea.

I love seeing tourists freak out over crossing continents so quickly 😂 I live on the Asian side but my uni is on the European one, so commuting between continents is a daily necessity for me 😄 I also wanna add that Bosphorus is not a river but a strait serving as a passage between two bodies of water, more akin to a canal like Gibraltar. Glad you enjoyed your stay in Istanbul 😁

Turkey's snack and dessert shops have a feeling that you will be sorry if you don't go in and buy them, it's really diverse and every item is attractive! Traveling to Asia with Pakistanis in Turkey, this project is so cool, what a surprise! Pakistanis are really warm and generous, I envy Mac so much, and I really want to have Pakistani friends! Those desserts at the end are so tempting, they seem like a five-star hotel, or a Michelin restaurant grade dessert! Looking forward to the next episode, thanks for sharing! 👍🥰🙌

Pistachio Baklava (green roll) is THE BEST Turkish baklava on Earth! i used to live on the Asia side of Istanbul about ten years ago, made regular visits to the Euro side just for Pistachio Baklava from the Sultan's official sweetmaker. a must try 😋

Most popular places of asia side are Bağdat street and the sea side you can sea historical houses there rent a bike or martı and go to bostancı and take boat there to go islands. Also you can see moda next to kadıköy🫶

That cheese pita is Burek, it is Bosnian/Turkish speciality. Chicago has plenty all over just so you know :). In the Skokie area.

künefe is not syrian or libanon sweet many foods in libanon are ottoman/turkish kitchen it is original turkish.Hatay is a turkish city but near syrian border ethnicity is more turkish people there but living also some syrian refugees.Künefe is a Ottoman Sweet since Ottoman Empire the best Baklavas and Künefes comes from Turkey it is 100% true.

Not really. You chatting rubbish man. The sham (Levant) region had Kunefeh and Baklawa for hundred and hundreds of years. You lot came uninvited and learned from them. So stop talking rubbish boy.

Mac, You tried kunefeh and Baklawa in Lebanon, Jordan and now Turkey. Which is the best taste ? I prefer Jordan's Baklawa compared to Leb and Turk. I am not a fan of Kunefeh it made me sick.
