We are an Indian and American couple who are sharing our journey through life as an intercultural/interracial couple. Margaret is from Mississippi, USA and Prasanth is from Kerala, India. We currently live in New York. We started this channel so our family and friends can see our daily lives and to meet other couples like us. We can't wait to get to know you all.
From India to America and everywhere in between. We are on a world of an adventure!

Hi Mom..I guess you are Maggie's mom...when I saw the Mississippi episode, them visiting u people, I felt the striking similarity of Maggie's family with an Indian family .Close knit, emotional,caring for the elders and above all humble human beings... Maggie is a sweetheart. I think there are many western stereotypes to which we are used to. However even in US there are islands of strong family culture. However it is seen that as you move to the city the chances of those bonds weakening increases.

Nice vlog, the family has given very honest answers. That was quite normal, the way, the family has reacted when they came to know about their son wanted to get married to a foreign girl, but now they have accepted and love you most. Prasanth cried for you, seems he has gone through very hard times, ya it's very true, it is very tough here to convince the family when you want to marry a girl irrespective of what the family decided. At the same time, I have seen one of your vlogs how Maggi's mother was reacted to your relations, anyways at the end of the day you are a very happy couple. Cheers guys!!! NB. Even in western countries families that are religious and prays together stay together, It is in families who have given up religion and adopted woke culture that break ups happen frequently which sadly is more in western cultures now because of affluent life styles and kerala and India will soon be on par with them with growing affluent lifestyle and discarding of moral values which comes from spiritual beliefs.

6:20 the only think i find negative or not liked thing (kind of whole india problem) is that obsession of parents that there child must know English or talk in English I understand there mindset because of 60 years of education system india have ( its changing now more emphasis on vernacular or mother tongue is given in higher education or STEM education) but still one should be proud of there mother tongue as prasanth does ( even though i don't understand it) overall it was lovely conversation to watch 😊

@@WorldOfAnAdventure nice, taking my family to Kerela for the first time. Little worried as they never been to india before. It’s my first time in 18 years. How was the experience with your daughter when you went the first time. any precautions, suggestions.

@@manukevin7990 She did great her first time! The heat was an adjustment 😂. And the food. We made sure to find food she would eat and brought some things she would like. Staying busy and doing fun things definitely helped give her a positive experience. Have a good trip!
