Hello everyone, welcome back to the Final park in our European Mega Trip Series. Today we've ventured to the amazing Efteling Theme park located in Kaatsheuvel, Netherlands. This park opened back in 1952 and has grown to become one of the worlds best themed parks featuring some of the best themed and story driven rides & coasters anywhere in the World. Join us as we step back into this park for the first time since 2019! We get back on World class Dark rides like Droomvlucht & Symbolica and experience the extremely story driven and well themed coasters such as De Vliegende Holländer & Baron 1898. Not forgetting the new credits since our last visit Max Et Moritz A Mack Rides powered coaster! We also take a look around the parks Fairy-tale forest where all fairy tales come to life!

The boats have that long of a cue because in Netherlands it's sort of a little tradition to eat your lunch on those 😂

Yep, they hold 38 riders each. So that's 76 riders per cycle, if fully loaded which is great for keeping the queue moving.

Walt Disney almost certainly NEVER visited Efteling, however he did visit the Netherlands in the 1950s to visit the studio that dubbed his movies into Dutch. And Walt Disney not just visited the Efteling but hired the Efteling imagineers to help design Euro Disney park to a more European style.

Efteling is working a ton after years of doing only necessary repairs. So lots of things gonna be closed for variable times. And spooks lot closed and was demolished but one wall stays 🤣 so yeah not much a refurb but more a rebuild in a abbey. With a new story and new ride they gonna use a moving platform for the ride very new ride attraction mechanism. And efteling has a huge archive they have had a exhibition with parts from the park that haven't been from the archive for years.

Have a little tip for you the next time you want to visit the Sprookjesbos (Fairytale Forrest), the BEST entrance you can use is the entry at the Carroussel/Diarama, than you will have it from start to finish, mind you, it will take you HOURS to experience everything, especially with children! Thumbs up from The Netherlands!!

Fyi the planets in Droomvlucht were supposed to be there after the renovation, but during the renovation they literally broke.

Nice vid. Don't make it so difficult on yourself with stumbling over those Dutch throat breakers just say it in English. 😅 always nice hearing Anneke van Giersbergen in Baron 1898. It gives me kippenvel (chickenskin = choose bums) like we say in Dutch 😂

Very nice! Just fyi, Spookslot is not being refurbished. It got demolished and Danse Macrabre will actually be a whole new attraction. Loved to experience the Efteling through your eyes😊

I love this video! :D Just letting you know "Droomvlucht" is not pronounced "Droomvulsh" It's "Drone" with an "M". So "Drome" and then "Vlog" (like vloggers) with an extra "T" at the end. So "Vlogt" and then swap the "o" with the u from "luck". So "Drome vlugt" :D (that's close enough atleast hahaha!)
