Galaxy Note 8/9: How to Factory Reset & Bypass Password to Restart/Power Off

Note if this does not work you can try PassFab Android Unlocker (bit.ly/3iuvbTw) , Unlock Android Pattern, PIN, Fingerprint, password. Very easy and fast!
In this tutorial i show not only how to do a factory reset but also how to bypass the password that you forgot on your Samsung Galaxy Note 8 or Note 9.
In order to get to the Android Recovery menu where we would select wipe data/ factory reset we first need to restart or shut down the phone.
Remember with a factory reset we will lose all data and everything will be set back to the original factory settings as if you just bought the phone brand new and took it out of the box.
If having any issues let me know. I am also not responsible should anything go wrong.

I do have to say thank you so much. I searched online and watched a few KZfaq videos before watching yours. Yes some were informative but they didn’t get into as much detail as you do. Thank you very much for teaching us how to do this. It truly helped me out after watching so many videos, it didn't work because I wasn't watching how to reset for the exact model of my phone. Thought to reset galaxy notes, the buttons would be all the same. But here I need to press the Bixby button too. It did the job! Thanks again.

FINALLY! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Every other video I watched said pretty much the same thing except they didn't add to press the Bixby and to keep holding after you see the Samsung logo thankfully I found yours and it actually worked!!!! Lifesaver

Big help! I had to do it blind ( no screen) and I was able to do it with the reset, boot to admin menu, 4 clicks down, select yes then tell it to reboot. Thanks

For the ones were this doesn't work try it again but this time connect your laptop to your phone with a cable. I had the same issue but now I fixed it.
