iPad Air 4th Gen.: Black Screen, Won't Turn On?

I give you several easy fixes for an Apple iPad Air 4th generation that has a black screen even though the iPad is on. So basically the iPad is on its just the screen is blank or black. Thank you so much. I did the 3 buttons and it worked. Now fix my laptop that has black screen, microwave that won’t shut off and my refrigerator that died. 1 fix out of 4 is a blessing. Thanks 🥰

I tried putting it in the freezer….I can’t believe that works but it did and my IPad Air is now working again. Thank you!!!

thank you for the clear reset instructions. that was actually all i needed to resolve my black screen. thank goodness. but i had tried following both written website instructions and other you tube videos, but they were all not instructions that were clear enough to me to actually make the reset sequence work. thank you. i can remember what sequence and how to reset all by myself next time!! 😂

Took my iPad to get a cracked screen repaired. A few hours after I picked it up the screen was all dark like this. I tried every step but nothing worked. I was going to skip the last freezer step and give up but something told me to do it. I put it in the freezer and it actually worked! Your a lifesaver!

Had to put it 3 times into the freezer, at first and second time screen came up for a few minutes and disappeared again, but the third one did it. Thank you very much!

left ipad air near a window that was cracked open while charging (its winter here) and it wouldn't turn on for 3hrs, found u on and did tapping method n it worked thank u. wont be leaving this near anything cold again (too much $$ lol)

It's all started with ios 17 update ...... I tried almost everything then I put my ipad in freezer for 20 minutes after that I press volume up and down and home button and it's done.... Thank you man ❤
