Thats one of the things i respect the most out of Caps. You just see, that he doesnt do it for the money or bcs he wants to be the best, he just loves the game so much and just has fun playing. I love his playercams for it. Same with Bwipo tbh.

Even if G2 loses the semifinal, I think we can safely say that for the past 2 years this team has been the most consistently strong in Bo5's in the world.

@@Zwijger I would say in the past 3 years. Even before Mikyx and Caps joined, G2 was already making world semifinals. After Caps joined and Perkz role-swapped and made the wonder duo with Miky they just went beast mode, and it's so fun to hear their comms even when they lose.

In my opinion BO5's are what shows the real skill of a team both mentally and performance wise. BO1's are a coinflip and should honestly be removed. It dosent prove anything.

He's arguably one of the best players in the world, second only to Faker (and we'll see how long that lasts) and probably in ex-aequo with Perkz (and only because Perkz was a beast of a midlaner, considered the best in the West together with Caps, and made a successful transition to adc while still performing at Worlds level and stomping some of the greatest adc's that were considered to be best adc's at their position, and at that time, by many). Several midlaners challenged Fakers stature, but only Caps has been performing consistently year in, year out, ever since he started pro playing. Doesn't translate to trophies as it did with SKT, but todays League has a smaller gap between LCK, LPL and EU than it used to have, there's way more competition now than there ever was. Not even SKT wins anymore.

@@DDanV I think caps would need to win worlds at least once to get second but I think the consistency and the dominance rookie has achieved in his career is really impressive. Idk if anyone will pass fakers legacy of 3 world titles, 1 worlds finalists, 2 msis, and 10 lck titles tho but I agree if anyone could do it, it would probably be caps.

@@jerrytang5888 Tbf, Uzi is considered one of the GOATS despite never having won Worlds either. I think Cap's consistency should be taken into account. He's won MSI, he's a 2 time World's finalist back to back, and has made Semi's so far in this Worlds. Not a lot of players can boast those same type of achievements.

People throw shade on Perkz just cause his playstyle of adc isn’t amazing in the current meta but he’s proven when he’s comfortable he is a world class adc and was definitely a world class mid.

He also scales very well and can build items like zhonyas making him pretty crazy

yea I dont agree with dom here, Sylas dmg is pretty good when you consider everything else he does good. When you get ahead with him you can easily burst squishys while being in almost no danger of dying or being outplayed. When you are even his dmg is rather good than mediocre and when you are behind you are not even useless. I like playing sylas and I would actually say that riot should definitely not turn his dmg up atm because then he would be op and get destroyed again after.
