really appreciate the high-level, respectful and professional discussion between two players. I've been playing tau for 10 years and talking/listening to others passionate about the army not only in how it plays but the faction's lore makes it that much more encouraging to continue playing. thanks for the video guys

It was an interesting discussion. Not only for T'au but there is also some incentive here about how playing T1-2 with armies able to vomit OC2 from transport early.

Not really new to Tau (Started playing them in 3rd edition), but I haven't actually played them in many years. Just getting back into them and you guys have been a lot of help. A little disappointed that massive gunlines of Firewarriors aren't a thing anymore. I have tons of them laying around and no real use for them anymore. My classic Broadsides seem very lame compared to the awesome new ones. I also have so many gun drone with little to no use now. At least my crisis suits were all magnetized so they are still perfectly usable.

@@Puretideprogram most of it was allready painted in a custom scheme, but after painting farsight himself, I liked it so much I started over again xD Don't know why, but seems like I like red color schemes. Blood Ravens, World Eaters, 30k Blood Angels, Legio Fortidus and, well Farsight enclave ^^

I have preordered the combat patrol with pathfinders, breachers and a devil fish plus the commander, and i got 3 crisis suits as my first "expansion", what would be the best one to take next

Tau are hard to play , but its a dice game , luck is way more than 10% .

change is good change for changes sake is bad changing things should always be for a REASON, it should be to make the rules smoother, more understandable, make more sense it should be to help units that dont fit their theme to fit it better, it should make units which are supposed to be elites but underperform, more elite, and units which are supposed to be cheap but overperform, cheap change should be done by first identifying areas which feel wrong, and working to fix them change just for the sake of change is BAD changing something purely cos you want that thing to be something its not, is BAD, because people will like the thing it is and you are just taking away their joy from them things like removing wargear costs (aka, just building in wargear costs into the unit thereby making all weaker wargear utterly untakeable) is a change no one wanted and is bad, GW did it because for whatever reason, likely they thought it would be easier for them but as already been seen with every codex it very much has not made things easier for them its a change that was made for no good reason and has objectivly made things in the game worse when making changes you also need to be able to reflect, and look at your changes and go "this worked, lets keep going, this didnt, lets go back" which so far GW has proven themselves to be UTTERLY incapable of as they refuse to ever admit they did something wrong (which they have with 10th.....a LOT)
