Really great light, I use nanlite since 2021 and those are excellent lights. It's a very good innovation to use at heights, on a person for example, since it doesn't weigh that much and you could use a modifier without problem. I use Nanlite lights like this for interviews and sometimes it's a bit heavy if you don't have a strong c-stand.

I dislike that all the sponsored videos on this light barely show or mention the ballast control box that makes the package just as big as any other light setup and now you're just sacrificing a handle to adjust the light direction so you burn yourself every time...

Spot on. All the unsponsored reviews have criticised the heat as dangerous and the lack of power options as they are important for a COB led light

Thanks for the review. Right on the V-Mount. Please make them with V-Mount support. Really want a unit that is not so top heavy, and can be used in a boom .... would be nice if the review would include using this with a boom as well.

I also bought Zhiyun G200 recently, but found that the G200 Bowens mount has a serious problem. I can’t install other brands of Bowens accessories, such as Godox VSA-36K and SMDV softboxes, and can only barely fit the Zhiyun reflector, G200's Bowens mount is too tight Have you encountered this problem? Sometimes I want to use a large spotlight, such as the Godox VSA-36K, because the small spotlight is not bright enough for some shooting, but I find that the G200 cannot be installed Please report to Zhiyun if you also found this problem, hope they will fix it, It is a great light!

I chose to return mine and get the amaran. I burned myself and my video work picked up the hum. Aside from price, there is a lot to like but getting burned when moving set ups was too much.

Cheap alternative to other 200w lights I guess. I haven't looked up other lights in this category. The fact that it's in such a small form factor is negated by it's large power adapter which is as big as the light, not to mention the mount which isn't removable.

You can't compare a strobe light (godox ad200 pro) with a continuous led light like this one. They do not fill the same purpose.

@@dubenick minute 7:16 you can see camera in video mode. And there´s clarity even in deep black surfaces. I guess that that scene could be exposed right at ISO 1250 or lower at bigger apperture

⁠this is because S-Log has iso 800 and 12800 for video to be a clean image.

It's because he's using the A7SIII for video. ISO 12800 is when the second... ah crap what's it called... it's when the noise drops significantly because of something with the sensor. Essentially what I'm getting at is that the A7SIII performs better at ISO 12800 than ISO 4000-10000 as strange as that sounds. It's also why that camera is so dang good in low light.

Returned my 100. It was running extremely hot. Maybe over time or maybe the 200W is a better build.

LED light does'nt make any sense for photography. All youtubers take money from the companies and praise there xxit . Even with 100w the model gets blind, the iso is to high, and you have to use 1.8. I saw on yt a guy using the aputure 600w !! for a shot. Why? to roast the model? LEd only for video, yes. For photo, no, never.
