That color shift powder is from DYC (Dip your Car) KZfaq channel, he makes and sells plastidip and powders for plastidip. You can order that same stuff all day from his website.

EPIC!!! Just started watching your vids and i have subscribed! you have some great material. me favorite would have to be the jerk or fluke bait! looking into starting to make my own soft baits. I've been pouring my own jig (lead) heads and tying buck tails for a while now. watching your vids has given me the confidence i needed to try this as well! keep them coming man! Stay Safe!

Been using these automotive paints for two years now and I can't get enough of it. The good thing about them is that the less of it you use in your plastics the better it looks in my opinion. You can also mix these powders for different effects and you can add them to regular translucent plastic colours aswell ... the possibilities are endless. The Angling AI baits you did are my favourite by the way.

Awesome video, those pigments are awesome. Yeah I usualy make more the I need also lol. I usually just keep going untill im down to so little that it wont even do one. The only mold I have right now is the 3.5 ripper ES and it has 2 cavities on one side and one cavity on the other so when I get real low I just keep doing singles until I don't have enough to do one. And then depending on the color or if it has hi lite I will keep it for mutt colors.(thats what I call an amount of used baites or plastisol that are all a similar color)

I've been looking into making my own soft plastic baits for the bass and walleye. Then if all works out and I'm great at making the product. I want to try and create a small weekend business. Your videos have been very in depth and helpful.

I had a question? I have the ripper es mold and on the single cavity I keep getting a small notch in the tail. It only happens on the single side and disnt happen when I was using remelt from old baits. I figure it is user error, but wanted to ask incase it sounds like a mold issue. Thanks.

Try making a color shift trout pattern with holographic flake in the belly and actual trout colors also here in Montana we have a lot of emerald shiners is love to see if you can mimic them

You could put crazy stipulations on it too like the lures have to be made from everyday things . Heck, I might jump in on that! And I don't even build lures!

I had a Cannondale bicycle in the Maroon/brown/gold color shift color. They called it Chameleon Fire. I guess it was 1998 or so.

well that depends on the plastisol you use..in this case, it is very high quality plastisol.

Is the key to getting the layering in the pigments..? Or do you let the belly/initial pour set a bit, then re heat to bond..? Was confused with the hotplate, i dont think you let it cool in between pour/layers

i let it sit for a few minutes and pour..it will stay just right at about 315 degrees
