*Watching Sarah fiddle with the torsion bars on a Nissan is so funny to me because I used to loosen mine to lower my truck. You have to remember on a Nissan that the gas tank is on one side of the frame so the weight isn't even when trying to get the truck level. I always had to put the truck on the ground and drive it back and fourth so the suspension settles into its normal ride height. Then you can do a final tweak to get the height the same on both sides.*

Great video! A really good alignment shop should put the vehicle on 4 scales and fine tune the torsion bar adjustment by reading the corner weights after that then adjust the camber, caster and toe!

Sarah, suspension bushes are best torqued with the vehicle sitting normally. If done with the suspension hanging, they twist once sat. Once you're happy with all the adjustments, slacken each and retorque, with the weight of the vehicle sat on its wheels. A real pain for some. A four-poster lift is useful, unless you can get the lift legs under the suspension arms.

I'm so glad I finally came across your channel. I've been watching this Xterra buildout. I've been building out my 03 Xterra over the past year for overlanding. If there's one thing being my own mechanic has taught me it's that if a hammer doesn't work, get a bigger hammer.

I wondered about the Lincoln Park songs and could not think of it, however having a dirty mind I chuckled at the the 3:41 mark. I like to watch you do work on the truck, you show how to do it with just mostly hand tools.

Those miles marker hubs are okay, they are prone to cracking and exploding. So be prepared for that. Idler arm brace is super nice.

I did my torsion bars 2X, 4runner geometry changed with ball joint and diff spacers, you got it done.

When using the large adjustable wrench please use it in the correct direction. You have it backwards at 6:23. They are not as strong in that direction and can break.

Major camber adjustment needed. It will be interesting to see if there is enough adjustment.

You need to turn your crescent around you'll keep it tight you can strip a nut or bolt that way. You always put the movable ind towards direction you're turning the wrench

Make sure the alignment shop times the bushings on the upper control arms or they’ll just bind and cause premature wear of the bushings.

Impressive watching you install the bushings with the vise. I did have a flashback when you pulled ball joint apart. I had a '78 Mustang that popped an upper ball joint when I was driving home. Lucky for me it didn't fall apart until I pulled in my driveway!
