I actually really like the product pops. They’re not ad icons like the Coca-Cola bear, I don’t get why they decided to name them that. But I found them an interesting concept, the name was a good reason to put them on this list. And I’m glad you’re back bro!

Marty McFly is even worse than you mentioned. The original stock photo on Amazon was the colored hat. After many like myself pre ordered the stock photo changed to the silver hat only to release the colored hat later as an exclusive! They burned us bad with that one.

I was looking forward to this one and I'm glad to say it didn't disappoint. I do enjoy the Coke Can Pop since it kind of reminds me of a mascot costume or something. But it's the only one of the "product" line I actually enjoy and the whole line is a big gimmick to be honest. I definitely have to agree with your picks for the worst lines. The Album series is so disappointing because they're really cool figures in my opinion but the packaging is just so unnecessary and they should have been released as normal Pops. I agree that the street art ones are just irredeemable all around though. They just strike me as a way to milk Marvel even more (when we have plenty Marvel Pops already) and they don't even look good to me.

The Mr Toad one really pisses me off! I’m a huge fan of the movie and Mr Toads wild Ride and there really isn’t any figures of the character. So when the OG pop came out in 2018 I had to have it. I payed just under 100 and I could justify it as it was something close to me and was worth it. The value isn’t even something that annoys me as I have no plan to sell. But what annoyed me is how awkward and UNNECESSARY the new swirly eye one is. The fact they released him in the car too, with the standard head is the biggest L. If they just did the ride and gave him the swirly head (which would make more sense as the hypnotised look is caused by the motormania of driving) id have no problem. The fact they did two, making the OG almost redundant and how awkward the common looks with the swirly eyes and the standing pose is baffling to me! Big L

Nice to hear from ya. I honestly like pop Albums. Yeah, I would be more to your opinion if it was way more expensive but I think they are like 5 bucks more than regular pops. I feel that this year has been tough for funko fans, but I like how we can like and dislike stuff and still be community. I can't wait for your best of 2020 pops. I hope you had a good Christmas. Welcome back dude! Glad to see another video from you. I agree with most of the entries on this list, the only thing I would say about it is I think next year's video would really benefit from having it broken up into 2 different sections: Ugly, and poor execution (could even take it a step further and add a 3rd category: Funko's double dipping). A lot of the Pops on this list aren't even bad Pops, just poorly executed or they were double dipped. And I think a lot of the ugly Pops were overlooked due to this. But again, still agree with the choices presented regardless. Glad to see you back!

You nailed it with almost all of these! I’m happy about the Mr. Toad though as someone who couldn’t get the exclusive 😂 the rest of these are shelf warmers to the extreme though. Hopefully they chill with the cans and packages and drop some real ad icons soon

RETURN OF THE KIIIIIING I had originally really liked the idea of the album pops, but now that you bring up your points I kinda realize how silly the execution is. Hey funko, here’s a thought... why don’t you edit the album cover to just look like the background of whatever album it is and then pose the pop in front like 3D album art? I forget what the name of the company is, but there’s a group that makes 3D remakes of albums like Master of Puppets and the Sex Pistols and I could see these reimagined album pops being a strong competitor if given more effort. Like, for example, many Rush albums come to mind, specifically A Farewell to Kings. Just do the rubble background of the album as an insert and put the king... puppet... man... in the front where he would go originally! It would look great! (Also the idea of including a ‘45 vinyl in the box is so smart)

I have to agree with your opinion on Marty, I'm a big fan of BTTF so I pre ordered the whole line the day they were announced, so when it came in with the grey hat, I was kinda annoyed, especially after I found out that Target was getting him with the Correct hat. It's like what was the point of making the grey hat one in the first place.

I love the use of I Love Trash. I wish the Mickey and Minnie gingerbread men were included, to me they look like sculpt shit with frosting decorations.

That is so funny, I started collecting a year ago and I feel like only you and Pop Savage keep it real but you more so. Everything you say is on point about Funko products and loved when you challenged 7 bucks A Pop about the shitty mystery boxes , which I never purchased uno . I collected Hot Wheels and comics for 30 years and the transition to Pops was easy. I am still navigating my way through the BS with all the drops , Instagram and ebay and at 53 years of age . I would love it if you did a review of Whatnot , recently I bought a Pop from them that said it was in mint condition and paid up for it but when it was delivered it was a 7 to 7.5 and when I contacted them all they wanted to do was offer 30 % back which wasn't the issue. If your gonna represent something as mint there should be a standard .Thanks for all the great content and I only go after the Pops that fit my collection and i'll leave the mystery boxes to the desperate and mucho rico.
