The Jackie Smith drop at 5:21 is still painful to this day...only time I ever saw Tom Landry react, Cowboys settle for a field goal and ended up losing by 4 so this catch was huge

A lot of these are not the "worst drops". To qualify as a "worst drop" I think it needs to be an easily catchable pass, that a High School receiver should be able to catch 9/10 times and a pro receiver should catch 99/100 times. Passes are right on the numbers are horrible drops. Some of these were not easy catches, high/low, back shoulder etc. Yes, passes that a pro-level receiver should make, but not easy. 1:15 is a horrible drop. 4:04 was high, marginally catchable, but not a horrible drop.

A lot of these aren't so much "worst drops in NFL history" as "wasn't able to pull in a poorly thrown pass." But some of them, yeah, no excuse for missing. But like others have said, even Megatron dropped some he should have caught.

Based on this video Larry Fitzgerald best recover to play the game, not one bad drop, even jerry rice had a bad drop, but Larry doesn’t drop good passes 💪
