Live action Sanji basically changed his only flaw (the creepy simping) into a charming quirk. So he's a kind-hearted guy, smart, a talented cook, and one of the crew's main forces, with no flaw whatsoever. Hard to dislike the guy really.

No, but Usopp telling his stories really does sound more charming in the live action. It took me awhile to appreciate how they came across in the anime. Weirdly wasn't a problem for me in the manga tho.

Great season finale. The fights was great. Arlong shark weapon looks amazing. The Zoro and Sanji banter is the best. I love the Luffy line to Arlong that you made my navigator cry. Sanji calling his moves was hilarious and Zoro follow up is you will fit well with our crew. I love the Luffy: Nami! You're are our friend line. Luffy getting his first wanted poster was cool with the hilarious Usopp back of head in it as well. I like how the show ended on Smoker seeing Luffy wanted poster. I rate this live action an 8.5/10. Not perfect but it was great, it is a success Season 2 is confirmed and i can't wait how they do with the next season. It might take a while but we are getting season 2 It's really surprising because in just two weeks, One Piece live action just got renewal. It's been trending no. 1 on every countries but that has to do with the people hasn't seen One Piece

Fun Fact :- The barrel scene was 1:1 to the Manga according to showrunners original plan. Then an editor presented that scene with their kids version in between, and the showrunners stated they fell off their chairs on how good it was, that was a happy accident and they kept it. Imo, this LA Barrel scene, with their kids version saying those same words, is On Par, or slightly better.

"ARLONG HOOD/BLOCK" arc goes hard in live action

7:56 Oddly enough people were badmouthing the choice for having Taz Skylar for Sanji when it was first announced - I think they started to change their minds once they found out he took up kick boxing and learned how to cook just for this show. As for myself I think I'm a little bit in love with this, I still adore this Zoro though.

One has been so successful and all you hear from reviewers is that it's a hard pill to swallow.... i don't roll with that thinking and neither would I tell someone to skip episodes.... take for what it is.

I like the Live Action One Piece. I watched it with my wife and BiL. They liked it too. I'm a huge OP fan and a weekly manga reader. I watch the anime in arcs. It was nice seeing your reactions. Sadly YT seems to have made your episode 2, 3, and 6 hidden.

i really liked arlong's lines in this episode. when i 1st saw him in the trailer i thought he looked too serious, like dragonball evolution piccolo, but when he said "i'm just getting started darling" i was like "there's the arlong humor that i was looking for". i like how he said it in a black accent too. lol the episode was good, i just wished that zoro had his fight with hatchi. if he's not in the show then i wonder how they're gonna change the saboady arc(if they make it that far). because not only is hatchi the reason why luffy punches the celestial dragon, but when they meet up again he's also the reason why nami explores forgiveness after all the things arlong and his crew did to her and her family. i don't like the change with arlong being mad about his building being destroyed instead of his maps. i don't think arlong was that emotionally attached to arlong park. yeah he made it out of spite and anger because of what humans did to his race and to mimic the saboady park building, but i think coco village was just a base operation until nami was finished making the maps, and then when she finished they all would have just moved on anyway to conquer the sea and other places. he can always get or make a new building, but those maps set him and his plans back years on getting revenge against humans. i wonder if alvida's actress is going to lose weight for the role after she eats the slip slip fruit or if they're gonna hire a new actress. i really hope they keep her because she was a good alvida. i really liked the show though. i'm kind of upset that it's over. i know i had some problems with it but they condensed an entire one piece arc and made it work in 8 episodes. i feel like enies lobby, skypiea and thriller bark in live action is gonna be so good because they're gonna have a lot more to work around with.

You are just realizing that Zoro as a "person" is pretty flat and a boring person to be around. Where as Sanji is charming, funny, caring and someone who would be a fun person to be around. It's that you finally starting to realize it, just sad it took you so long to come to this point.
