@@jonslg240it’s not just the percentages. It’s how ridiculous it was that it even came to this. Duhamel played this hand like an absolute bafoon, I understand the preflop action, but after the flop and turn bet you 100% know you’re beat, jamming middle paid for essentially your tournament life is just a terrible play that didn’t deserve to be rewarded, yet he went on to win it all. Affleck was a far better poker player, that played the hand that properly , and busted. That’s why it’s the worst bad beat ever
@darylmixan8170
@darylmixan8170 6 ай бұрын
@jonslg240 and a bad beat is more than percentages, it's when a player in any circumstance should not have played his hand the way he did. AA getting beat by KK is not necessarily a bad beat, it's a cooler, both players did exactly what they should have done. Tournament pros call AA vs KK a 50% hand because if you play long enough you'll be on either end 50%.

Ya know man, fate was already set, the cards that came up were already written. Affleck was beaten by the cards already. Anyone can see ( as Duhamel did ) that there is a straight or 3 of a kind as possible outs. He was sporting a pair of Jacks himself…….was it such an outrageous call ??? This really only goes to prove that a players profession of skill is really made up of 95% ego……… and luck usually prevails over skill in a heads up match……
