I'm reminded of the mythbusters episode about playing music at plants to see if they grow better. One of the variables was in place of music, they yelled and physically abused the plants.

Old McDonald had a farm, and he's GLAD he didn't hire these lot! His tractors would've been piled on top of each other, the fields having mixed crops growing, loss of income, farming innuendos and arguments from the "hired farmhands"! ^^;
