I am one of the F50 lovers! I used to prefer the F40 like the majority still do today. But looking more at the F50 in every detail. That Formula 1 V12 and the rarity in numbers plus that radical 90s styling with the big rear wing! I now prefer it over the F40! I would gladly have both though!

Personally I've always thought the f40 to be the most over rated supercar there is . The 288 gto was far more beautiful from every angle and a lot rarer . The f50 is and alway ls will be one of my favourite supercars .

It's an amazing model and the best F50 out there period. Even the more expensive Amalgam has accuracy issues and is far less detailed, with no visible engine detail at the rear. Hoping BBR releases diecast version one day.

Detailing, especially outside detailing which is basically what we see with these resin models, can only go so far. I payed a few days ago 369€ for a Die-Cast BBR LaFerrari that is by itself extremely detailed and opens all of its doors and panels. And it is made by BBR itself on top of that. Even removing the base and cover, which would take away about 70€ or something, it still sits at 400€ (in hobbysector it's being sold for 405€ in stock right now). This is absolutely ridiculous pricing no matter how you cut it. It will surely still get more valued as it's a limited piece, but buying it new for 400€+ is way over the top. For about 100€ more or so, I can get fully opening models that have EXTREME detailing (arguably even better than these, considering you can see the amazing details of the engine and other components) all around with Exoto, GMP and CMC for example. Even AutoART, that gets criticized because they are producing their new line-ups as composite plastic models, is still better value than any of these FrontiArt/BBR resin models. I have bought quite a few of them, the Regera, the P1, the Chiron, the EB110, the LFA, the 918 Spyder, and all of them have exquisite detailing, arguably even better than some of their past die-cast signature models because the manuctaring with the composite plastic does allow for the detailing to be improved (it's easier to work on than die-cast metal, and it's also reflected on the paint) and there's already a few comparisons made on that. Obviously the downside of all of this is that when you get them in your hands, you don't feel that "premium" weight that we get with die-cast and resin, and it looks like the composite model would easily break (they are actually still very flexible and sturdy, all collector cars like these should be treated with extreme care regardless of what they are made off anyway), but if we consider that these are simple collector pieces that are just supposed to be in sealed exhibitors, to be appreciated and looked at, that downside dissapears. Then there's another problem with resin... Endurance over time... Where the AutoART composite actually does best even die-cast when it comes to longevity. I really wanted to get a Koenigsegg Jesko and an F40/F50 that have quite great detail in my collection, but I really will not succumb to waste 400+ on resin models when new from the store like these. Spark has done some really amazing models (especially the racing models) for less than half the price also using resin. Alongside that BBR LaFerrari, I bought a Spark GT40 Gulf #9 Le Mans winner from 1968 for 145€, with pretty much as close to the real life model accuracy as it could get. 350€ would be the pricing of this model... WITH the base and protection case. Sub 300 without. This car isn't 2 to 3x more detailed than other resin cars like Spark, GT Spirit, Top Marques to get to these astronomical prices. Hopefully AutoART gets the Ferrari license in the future, or other resin companies like the ones I mentioned above decide to make these models at their normal pricing. PS: Sorry for the rant. Just wanted to put things into perspective.

Hah thanks that’s okay I enjoyed reading this prices have always been a controversial topic I know BBR prices are increasing and increasing but I can’t see it getting less for me I would prefer to collect the older AUTOart models the signature ones especially as they hold their value very well 👍

@@CarsWithHNK Me too my friend. The old Signature model AutoArt cars were amazing. Even the Millenium line-up was great, I have a Carrera GT from it as well as a Ford GT (2005) and both have amazing detailing going for them. And are steadily increasing in value as well, especially the Carrera GT which some, for the silver model, are going for over 600-700€.

So if we detract the base and cover (- ca. 70€) the model still sits at 400€. I own MR, FrontiArt and BBR myself and i have to say i am getting more and more critical of their pricing. Nothing opens, detail is nice but nothing a AutoArt Signature or LCD-Models Pagani wouldn‘t offer and then there is the problem with glue and durability of the resin itself. To think that they charge more money for a one-piece mould of resin as companies like LCD do for a fully opening diecast model with many parts (not talking about the mesh grilles, interior parts and plastic parts like headlights etc - pretty similar between both models) it‘s ridiculous. This model, for me, would be worth maximum of 250€. Basically double of what GT-Spritit charges and on-par with diecast models like LCD.

Hi yes I understand your point I will always prefer Diecast models from AUTOart Signature and the old BBR Diecast models the Enzo and F430 and my favourites but I do collect some resin models and I am more and more selective in which resin models I add given the prices and more and more now which is disappointing when the models are fundamentally the same I think moving forward I will reduce the amount of resin models I buy and focus more on the older and rarer Diecast models as I think that’s where the value really is 👍👍

I agree, it's a fantastic model and BBR will eventually make a diecast version for the same price. Opening detailed diecast are the ones worth this kind of money.

Definately not worth that money. If Bburago diecast model with everything open and looks great cost about 40 euros, for this one real price is 20e trust me,okay maybe 30 euro because little bit more detailed. C'mon man BBR and Autoart now stole money from people, they know collectors buy and put on their desks, that's why they make car without open anything and plastic models not metal cause its more expensive to make. Remember earlier model from art and bbr everything was a metal and good quality, and cheaper than todays car of course. They fool people. They even make case and suggest you to buy,30euro is a case haha too much bro, they find a way use money from you everywhere.that case suposed to be free for that price.
