@@DryerDaysArTsTuDiO Your piece is the prettiest I've ever seen!!! I have a few types of resin and wish I had seen how beautiful resin painting and embellishment before I bought hundreds of dollars for paint pouring!!! I know that I can use some of my supplies for doing the resin work but I have to use up a bunch of my supplies before I can go out and buy more items. So far the Acrylic paint pouring has been pretty stressful for me and don't get anything that I love .... Really ever!!! I have one or 2 that I would like to resin so I'm watching a lot of youtube videos before I get the nerve. I'll definitely do it on one I don't like too much first!!!¡!!. You keep on.. I know that will sell for sure!!! I can see it on an old fashioned make-up table with perhaps a hairbrush and comb with some of the same decoration!!!! ❤️

So I’m new an want to start doing resin. Once I’m ready to do more then one color, do I mix the gardener an resin together then pour it into different cups and then add the powder or would I have to make multiple cups of the Hardner and epoxy? If that makes sense lol

I e never seen anybody paint the mold prior to adding the resin. Does it stick to the resin when you unmold?

I sand it gently to make it smooth, being careful not to scuff the surface

If your resin piece is cured, do you sand it before adding another layer? I know you can layer when tacky but I'm getting confused watching all these different videos as some artists sand, some don't. Do you San when no longer tacky?

I don't. The only reason I would is if a hair or something got on the surface and I wanted to buff it out before I put on another layer. I hope that helps!!

While is drying do we have to cover it with something? So that nothing sits on it such as dust or fluffs in the air can u help please with this question

You can do that, yes. Most times I will prop a piece of carboard just over top of the piece, or drape a piece of plastic over it. I use cups of something else high than the piece to prop just hovering over the piece.
