The common hard sharpened wooden stake driven into the ground, with sharp end pointing upwards, or a crowbar , the straight end in hardened cement is much faster to shred coconuts. No need foot power.

Too Risky idea. It can commit an accident. Try one leg free and with handle engaged. Shift the lever from leg to hand without spring and apply more economical simple techniques. Appreciating your work effort.

Very good design. The hand operated which we have needs lots of effort in de-husking the coconut where as your design needs little effort to do the desired work. Kudos. By the by Where are you from?. If I need such a machine will you be able to sell it. If so the price for such a machine?
