In this video I use fluid acrylic paints to create a 3 panel artwork for a client's home. The end of the video has the final result of all 3 paintings. This was a huge piece of artwork and the end result is just amazing. Hope you enjoy this abstract acrylic artwork!
The acrylic pouring technique used: Flip and drag or the floating cup technique.
Pouring Medium: Floetrol, gloss medium and varnish (1 product, creative inspirations brand from jerrys artarama), and gac800 (ratio of 50/30/20 - 1 part paint to 2-3 parts pouring medium)
The paints are much thicker than my blow dryer work.
The cells and lacing that are created in this fluid art piece is due to the different densities of the paint there is no silicone in these.
Colors used: sky blue + white (base color); pthalo blue, paynes gray, cadmium and vermillion orange, white
Canvas size 3 canvases, each 24x 36in (3x6ft for total artwork)
