So a cute idea that my cousin did at her wedding last fall, next to her sign in table at the reception she had a large life size canvas picture of her that she took at her final fitting with full makeup and hair so that as the guest entered the reception, they could take pictures next to the photo to cut down on the photo requests because we have a large family and so does her husband.

I agree with you Toya. The wedding ceremony should always be UNPLUGGED if it’s the brides wishes as this is a memorable moment for the bride and groom and your guest should respect that. The wedding reception is the place where the phones/video can be turned on.

I totally agree with him. Everyone taking photos is annoying and can be exhausting. Who cares who wants a pic of the bride. Remember it's the bride day and their rules. If you want to find a silver lining be appreciative of the invite. Pictures can be done at least the last two hours of the reception. One thing I recently saw was people with their phones in the way of the videographer and the photographer. Just move out the way and let these folks enjoy what they paid for.
