3 жыл бұрынClaveria was not on our tourist radar at all, but WOW Mindanao did not disappoint here and we really feel like Misamis oriental is a very special place that more people should know about.
We stopped for dinner at the AMAZING Don Narciso Cafe and had an emotional and beautiful scene just waiting for us. We stayed for hours to watch the sunset before heading to Jila's Smallville for a night sleeping on the mountainside.
Our names are Jmayel, Sacha & Story. We traveled to Siargao island with Jmayel's mum & Story's grandma just before the Global pandemic that sent the whole planet into quarantine. We got stranded for months and fell in love with island life, now we want to make that life more permanent.

You guys cannot imagine the fear of Mindanao instilled in us, Filipinos in the 70s, unimaginable. Especially for those of us in Luzon. So Mindanao has never been in our wildest imagination or even in our bucket list.

WOW! just to let you know a lot of us are going with you in your trips... We like your simpleness and can feel your genuine appreciation of the things around you especially how you show and introduce the world to Story...Parents can also relate because we would always want to experience again and again seeing the world from a child's innocent eyes which makes your content so special even the simplest of things. Don't ever get tired of sharing .....you are our eyes and ears while we are stuck in the city, in our desk and condo or in other parts of the world.... I won't be surprised if a lot of Pinoys abroad got really homesick upon seeing clips from home! You help us fill our longing for the countryside... I know I was born in Mati. I'm from there, The waterfall you captured actually has a twin, on the right side. There's at least 7 waterfalls that are accessible all over claveria. the one you captured is pretty downhill and steep. thanks for visiting and promoting our place. would love to have you back

What I meant is that Mindanao is not what people see differently like unlucky, bad and the likes. Its good to know that foreign vloggers like Kulas, Kumander Daot and this fam loves Mindanao.

I read somewhere those big mountains in Mindanao are sleeping volcanoes and yet some are still considered active. I love Mindanao been following your channel. I guess it was a blessing in disguise that Mindanao has not really been explored that much by many tourists before! The beauty of the place has remained intact and preserved for generations to come. Mass tourism often times ruin the magic and beauty of the place. I can see that they're starting to develop the place so more people can go and visit. I hope that they would do it right and find the right balance between progress & preserving the environment! I hope you guys can go back there in the future to see the completion of developments being made. Communing with nature is very therapeutic and good for the soul especially now that you've just lost Eden. I'm happy for you guys that you get to experience this with Story. That view of the mountains & the stunning sunset were truly breathtaking! Truly, a sight to behold!😊

The landscapes are so beautiful.....seems like you can already touch the clouds on top of the mountains. Stunning views and even the sun set. Your accommodation is cute and it's surrounded with greeneries..... and flowers in full bloom.....What more can you ask for? The views are incomparable and the satisfaction is priceless. Love your adventure since day one of this Mindanao trip a tribute for eden. Sunset wow spectacular...i was blown away the view with that sunset amazing with story in it and mommy shasha can't get enough the sunset. Different from Siargao Sunset coz of the sorounding mountains but same BEAUTIFUL. TAKE CARE ALWAYS GUYS. Been following your trip. My hubby and I been to GINGOOG but never been there in that place. You can go to Balingasag then to an island CAMIGUIN were you can see the Volcanos there

J definitely enjoyed this trip because I remember him saying he prefers the mountains more than the beaches. So nice he found a place like this in Mindanao. Jun will be a good Kuya (Uncle) for Story and good friend to Mom and Dad. He seems to be a very nice fellow.

The more my wife and I watch your journey and life in the Philippines we ask ourselves why do we stay in the States. We are retired and stressed. Our lives would be so much more peaceful in a place where people are kind and have such a beautiful life. Thank you for just being....love you guy's.
