9:38 I think it's important to consider that Gunn is currently occupied with filming 'Superman!' as we speak literally which leaves him with limited free time to say the least. It's possible he may not hear or see everything, especially since he mentioned he's editing the film daily to minimize reshoots. Let's try not assuming things are true just because Gunn hasn't debunked them immediately. He's incredibly busy right now, probably more than ever before in his career, and that’s not to mention his work on 'Peacemaker' Season 2.

He would have certainly seen people in his mentions on threads over the past week or so ask him these, especially from major trades reporting on Arkham etc.

While Gunn not debunking it yet has given me pause, that report just seemed like clickbait. It comes out less than 24 hours after Nanjiani was tweeting about Superman, and it also feels like a casting decision that’s out of place from the rest of the DCU’s castings so far. But we’ll see.

Kumail does have that rare ability to be either likable or unlikable depending on the moment, which is big for Booster. As long as him and whoever is Ted Kord have great chemistry it should work.

Agreed, Kumail's natural personality make him a good choice for BG. I am convinced that Gunn is going to give us some JLI antics and you need a Ted Cord to laugh at Guy Gardner getting one punched by Batman. Jason Sudeikis voices Ted Cord at the end of Blue Beetle and I think he'd be a good fit for Gunn's tone.

Also, Gunn is approaching the end of Superman filming. I believe he said they're shooting 6 days a week. He's been noticeably less online that in previous months/weeks, so I wouldn't doubt if he slows his debunking or confirming. Again, he's said that he won't comment if contracts are being finalized (if a rumor is true).

Thanks for sharing the videos showing the fight filming! Very cool to see these behind the scenes moments. I’m pretty sure you can see the director of photography, Henry Braham, with that special RED camera that was made for the Suicide Squad. He’s the one in all grey with dark hair and dark rimmed glasses. They needed a lightweight camera that could move easily, so it needed to be lightweight and portable enough to really get the shots Gunn wants for the film. You can see a perfect example of this when Braham is able to tilt the camera upward suddenly to follow Clark taking off. I can’t wait to see how the this scene actually plays out on film!

As a Cleveland movie crew worker I'm still very surprised at how loose the security is onset as far as actual full scenes and costumes being recorded and posted online so easily. The Marvel films that shot here wouldn't even allow you to have a phone on set an if you were caught recording you cloud have been arrested.

I believe the hall of justice is actually the former based of the old Justice Society, now probably a museum because most likely the DCU JL based is gonna be the watchtower

I don't want to sound like a broken record but I really think Clark's likely been Superman for about 5 years and not just 2-3. The newspaper props from a while back referred to him as Metropolis' most famous hero and he's already more popular than others including with kids who wouldn't know or care much about heroes being corporate or government sponsored. Add to that again 5 years being the exact amount of years New 52 Superman started out as in his present day comics. Relatively that's still a young Superman since current comics Superman has been around in-universe for about 20 years (see the ages of Dick Grayson, Damian Wayne and Jon Kent, as well as the current World's Finest run), and Henry Cavill's Superman technically being 10 years older by now (with the DCEU wasting most of those years).

Would be interesting if we see Metamorpho's origin in this movie. He hasn't been seen on set yet and it doesn't appear he's part of any team yet, but I could be wrong.

@@BaithNa getting someone to play a role doesn't necessarily require acting skills alone at times. You've got to watch out for these things as well 1. Looks 2. Age 3. Looks 4. Looks If you're happy to have a really good actor to play a certain role that doesn't suit him then pick Dwayne the rock Johnson as lex luthor

I was surprised they were still in Cleveland on Monday I only drove through and saw they were in Public Square filming at Key Bank aka Stagg tower. I'm wondering how much more they have to film or are they close to being done since they started a month ago? I do thing Gunn is busy but I'm sure he's got a lot of stuff to say after he wraps filming so I'm not worried about rumors yet. I do wish someone else was playing Booster Gold cause I don't think his humor fits plus he's on the older side.

Im pretty sure Superman will get more powerful as the DCU goes on. Thats one thing I liked about the DCAU, once we got to the Justice League Unlimited Superman, he was super powerful. There were few foes that could hurt him, like Amazo or Darkseid.
